I've been furloughed since Mid April so I decided to play Darksiders 1-3. I'd finished 1 before on the PS3. It was good apart from the Black throne which I'd blanked from my memory somehow until I got back to it on the PS4.Still fun mostly.
I'd not finished Darksiders 2 before so I played through that on the Deathinitive edition that I got on PS Plus. Loved it. Prince of Persia meets God of War meets Zelda they have a threesome and Darksiders 2 pops out 9 months later. Good stuff.
Darksiders 3-Light Souls. That's the best I can describe it yet, Man what a game. It's solid B tier. The camera is occasionally janky, and it's not a looker but I could not stop playing this. I started Monday afternoon and I've put about 21 hours into this. There's more for me to find and I may go for a NG+ run at some point. Not right now though as my priority is clear the backlog while I'm furloughed as I won't get this opportunity to sit on my arse guilt free for another 19 years. It's been free on PS Plus and I believe it's a current game pass game. Give it 3 hours. It starts too slow and the combat is iffy to begin with but once it gets going it's great.
