Cutting out anything extra-curricular to motorsports, GRID is based on speed. The cars, hand picked and kept to a minimum are built for high performance, also the real world tracks in the game were kept to the obscure, tracks that usually dont appear in regular racing games.

The player has four weapons to accomplish this goal: the rock crusher, gold melter, and ice splitter beams, along with a limited number of bombs. Another way to defend yourself is the boost, which gives a very short time of invulnerability and the power to kill everything the ship touches during that time.

  • Bionic Commando Rearmed is an update to the original 8-bit classic originally released on the NES in 1988. The CD is available on iTunes, Sumthing Digital and the Bionic Commando website. The game features two player co-op, and new bionic arm abilities. Rearmed sticks to the original's story of Nathan "Rad" Spencer's first mission: rescue Super Joe (dubbed Joseph Gibson in Rearmed) and eliminate the enemy leader.

  • Fast-paced and fun, Fat Princess faces two teams against each other in a comical battle of epic proportions. Your goal is to rescue your imprisoned princess from the enemy's dungeon, a la Capture the Flag. Only this time, the flag can weigh in at as much as 300 pounds. You see, to slow your efforts of rescuing your lost leader, the enemy team has been stuffing cake into her mouth, causing her to gain an excess amount of weight resulting in a slower rate of movement for the soldiers carrying her home. Of course, you have been doing the same to their Princess, and it will take a smart, strategic approach for either team to get their Princess home safely.

  • Red Dead Redemption is the spiritual successor to Red Dead Revolver developed by Rockstar San Diego for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is primarily a third-person shooter, taking place in a large sandbox-style open world, in the vein of the Grand Theft Auto series. The game takes place in the American Old West in 1911, and follows John Marston, a former outlaw who is tasked with killing or capturing his former gang members by the American government.

  • inFamous is a third-person open-world action-adventure game in which players take control of Cole, an urban explorer / bike messenger changed by a mysterious blast that grants him electricity-based superpowers.

  • Uncharted 2 follows Nathan Drake on his journey to find a mythical treasure with link a historical figure; in this case, Marco Polo. However, this game trades the dense jungle environment for a range of exotic and urban locales, including Borneo, Turkey and Nepal.
