Yeah you're right. Her new look makes me wonder why she's carrying a hammer when a pole would work better for her. I am not freaked out or feel sorry for her but now I feel that I need a stack of 50's.
If that's the look that you dig then more power to you bro. I for one do not like it. Not one bit.
Well Harley was never someone to take very seriously in the first place. I don't mind the slutty look because its JUST Harley. Riddler looked like a green hipster and Robin looked like an ex-gang member. I find these redesigns more fitting to complain about than Harley's look.

@TheWholeDamnShow: Her current look in the comics is horrible in every possible way. They have removed everything that made Harely Harely. I don't like the AA or AC looks either much either, BUT the AC look at least feels more "Harely" than the comics. That thing in the comics isn't Harely anymore, it's some hooker bitch pretending to be her drawn solely because Jim Lee is fucking idiot that believes every woman in comics has to look like a whore.
Again... Harley is just Harley. If anything her whore makeover gave her the opportunity to expand her character. Sort of like what happened to Starfire. It Grew her a little bit. Gave her some depth. All she was before the relaunch was an occasional punching bag for Joker and a wild card to team up with all the other Gotham whores (Catwoman, Ivy)

Well that's comics. Someone no less iconic a figure as BATMAN has had more than a dozen major designs, not all of them winners. More to the point, she's not even really a comic character. She came straight from the animated series and was so obvious and compelling a character they brought her on into the comics...and then gave her a horrible redesign.
Yeah, but not that major of a change. Even his new Metal look has classic elements.... If you show a complete stranger who knows nothing about Batman or his rogue gallery i'm willing to bet that they won't be able to recognize new Harley from old Harley. It's too major of a change to just brush it off. And even though her first appearance was in the animated series, she became more famous through the comics and there gathered more fans. Her redesign I think anyways, was completely necessary. The relaunch aimed for a more realistic approach and old school Harley wouldn't have fit the status quo.
