  1. Binary Domain

  A competent shooter with a great story. Got it on the cheap, turned the difficulty down to easy, and chugged through it.

  2. Rage

  The graphics were no longer cutting edge in 2013. I felt like I was playing a shooter MMO with all the fetch this/kill that quests. Nothing grasped me to continue playing the game. After some lost progress because I forgot to save (who saves in an MMO world), I just stopped playing.

  3. Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gods & Kings

  This was the first game in a long time where I would forget to eat/sleep while playing. Just "one more turn" goes a long way. I liked this a lot more than I thought I would have. I will definitely be coming back to this later.
