Wow, that was fast. I played the demo for Tropico 3 and while it was fairly decent, it didn't make me want any more Tropico than I got. This seems too soon, and with too little content to really peak my interest.
I skipped mine and went into placement. I just wanted to start playing, I don't mind either. I got placed and now I can work my way up the ladder as my skills increase, getting stomped at the beginning is all part of the experience. It's one of the reasons that playing games online is awsome, eventually, with a little perseverance you too will be the stomper, and they, the faceless mass of internet peoples will become the stomped.
"Hope this is going to be a little more approachable than Dragon Rising "
This could be taken two ways. One that it was not approachable because it was a stripped down, bland, buggy mess of a game. Or you could be saying that it was unapproachable because of complexity or overencumberance. I sincerly hope the former is the truth. For the sake of humanity. If so, I wholeheartedly agree. Top Arma2 please. But it won't happen, Codemasters should stick to Grid/Dirt.
"Honestly I could really care less about this, I just wish Blizzard would fix the way the maps are listed on Bnet "
Yes, this, one thousand million times this. The way they have custom games set up now is ridiculous. There is not way to get a new mod going because of it. So pages and pages and pages and pages and pages an... just go completely unplayed. Not only that, but it's just annoying to have to keep clicking the show more thing, which probably adds to that problem of hundreds of unplayed maps....
Google goes a long way... http://www.creepcolony.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3026 That there is a massive list of starcraft terms. It is technically from the first game, but for obvious reason's it is still the list to go to for the second if you don't know whats up.
