Okay, so i've had an idea.

I have a projector that i use to beam movies onto the back wall of my house, so i can watch them from my garden. I'm going to set the projector up, so it beams a slideshow of images of me that i have edited Tali into using microsoft paint, onto the ceiling directly above my pillow.

Hopefully this will work.

I'm not interested in lucid dreaming. A key component of a lucid dream is having an awareness that you are in a dream. I don't want that.

They say that if you focus on something before you fall to sleep, you can kind of manipulate your brain into dreaming about it.

So i made this picture. I'm going to stare at it for an hour before going to bed.

I'll let you know if it works tomorrow, but i'm eager to know if anyone has any other tips for choosing your own dreams.

I am also looking for some people to unlock some of the co-op achievements with, namely the ones for finding the online orbs, gliding over each of the three islands in formation, and driving a bus through a hoop.

I'm currently reading How To Kill, which is a collection of real life accounts of stories regarding assassination attempts, successful and otherwise. A very compelling read, and the story behind the attempt on President Truman's life in 1950 has stayed with me.

It is said that Leslie Coffelt got up from a bullet that should have instantly killed him, to kill the man that killed him and was about to kill Truman, Griselio Torresola.

It's a thoroughly engrossing read.

Hello. I'm currently looking to assemble a team of highly skilled agents to assist me in the unlocking of several achievements on Crackdown 2.  My gamertag is YesConsiderably, so if you fancy it send me a message or something.

Apologies if this is an inappropriate forum to request assistance on. I have been unable to find the page where all the sub-forums are listed, so if anyone has a link i could bookmark it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Honestly, this isn't the issue that many of you seem to be making out.  If you're good enough, you can rack up many kills with the Thompson, which available for just over 1000 points. By the time you really need something bigger, you're loaded.

Don't you think it's weird that the sun and the Moon are just the right size and just the right distance away from the Earth to allow this celestial miracle to occur?

I do. But what i find even weirder is this:

There are 366 rotations in an Earth year. The number of Megalithic yards in 1 Mg second of arc of the Earth is also 366. The percentage size of the Moon to the Earth is 366%

The ratio of the size of the Moon to that of the sun is 400. The Moon rotates 400 times faster than the Earth. The number of times the Moon is closer to the Earth than the Sun is 1/400th. There are 40,000 Megalithic yards in 1 Mg second of arc of the sun. The Earth turns 40,000 km on its axis every day. The Moon spins 400 km per day.

This is where it gets interesting.

109.28 - ratio of the size of the sun to that of the earth.
109.25 - number of earth diameters across the diameter of the sun
109.26 - the number of solar diameters across the Earth's orbit of the Sun

27.332 - the sidereal days in 1 lunar orbit )27.322 X 4 = 109.2)
27.322% The percentage size of the Earth to the Moon.

This cannot be a coincidence. This is a clear and present mathematical message, designed to alert us to the fact that our Moon is an artificial construct; built to act as an incubator with which to promote intelligent life on Earth.

@gamebelongtous:

Gamerscore isn't really something that i worry about too much. Like you say, there is no standardised method of scoring each individual achievement, so it is certainly not an efficient metric to use in measuring gaming prowess.

I was more excited about having my xbox live profile confirm that i have beaten Mass Effect 2 on Insanity than i was the accompanying 75 gamerpoints. I kind of prefer the Playstation method; it would be nice for number of games that i have fully completed to be represented on my gamercard.
