I became a gamer when I was 4 and I asked my mom to get me "that game" one time we came up with a shop that was showing super mario bros for the NES. That game changed my life, now 18 years later this remake was one of the main reasons I got a DS Lite last year, but was sadly delayed because of the great amount of jrpg backlog I had to cover

I wanted to discover which was the appeal of this series after playing some Prinny:Can I really be the hero? last year and because I love the Ashley Davis contributions as a dtoid editor, where she showed some Disgaea love so many times.
The game is amazing, a lot of hilarious humor, great characters that will grow quickly in your heart and an awesome grid based rpg battle system. Nippon Ichi brought some fresh air to a declining genre. Planning to finish the Disgaea 2 port some time this year

I really wanted to love this game so much but I have to say that I got bored during my playthrough and I don't know if I'm going to get the Episodes of Liberty City. There are some great characters including Niko Bellic which is the best GTA main character since Tommy Vercetti but the game lacks mission variety and scope, there is not enough support for the awesome background story that Niko appeared to have and the events happening near the end of the game try to bring very heavy moral choices but as a gamer it is very obvious what is the one we would pick

A decent tps that cleverly knows how to deliver using the limited controls provided by the PSP, the voice acting lacks from some quality and the script is a bit cheesy

The singleplayer part was an insult to my gamer intelligence, the story is so badly told that you don't even understand what the hell is going on during some missions. Come on, this is 2009 GOTY?

One of the best games I have played in my entire life, so polished, so well designed, I have not even words to describe the awesomeness of this game, I have always loved Batman but I never cared about learning all the lore about it, this game covers all his background story and the origin of the villians in a very clever way, just get it.

This game brought back memories of why I loved so much the Sega Dreamcast, the japanese game design, the over the top action, the amazing gameplay mechanics, the hilarious story that only takes itself seriously reaching the last chapters, a large amount of unlockables, a game that is bringing a new great badass character to the table that I really hope stays for a long time.

A fun co-op experience that lack the polish current gen games need to succeed, with some frustrating moments that keep you wondering why are you putting your self in that situation till the next funny moment with your pal comes. We finished it with a college friend in two sessions when he came to study, the second time we were wishing it would finish quickly so we could start playing the next co-op game to be cracked opened, it starts being boring after the game designers decided to send hordes and hordes of infinite enemies while giving you the next objective, a very cheap way of lengthening the game, hope some more polish and clever ideas were applied to the sequel

The best Star Wars game since Jedi Power Battles, adding some interesting part of the missing gap between episode III and IV. Unfortunately a lot of unpolish stuff prevents it to be more than that, the only good game since the latter 2000 release. Targeting problems, glitches, artificial difficulty and an awkward light saber physics (in contrast to the awesome use of the Euphoria engine in the "force" department).
