I ended up having the opposite experience, I thought it was way too easy. I know there are additional challenges to do after finishing the game, but playing through the first time, the entire game took me about 80 minutes (excluding the credits) to complete. I'm not particularly amazing at shooters or anything either, it just played like a really simple puzzle game.

I'm totally fine with it being allowed. If DLC/expansions manage to be better than full titles that came out the same year, then they deserve to win.

Haven't had one since 2010. It's been an issue maybe twice in that time, but I can easily go rip/burn discs on another computer so it's kind of whatever.

I would take fewer graphical effects and at least 900p 60FPS, ideally. I would still take 720@60 over 1080@30 though; anytime I see games running in 60FPS or higher, I always feel a big sigh of relief. 30 isn't unbearable by any means, and I'll take a stable 30 over variable 40-60 in most cases, but 60 looks and feels so much better that it's hard to ignore.

My upgrade menus also stutter really bad, hoping to get a fix for this one soon. It's not unbearable, but I like to spend a lot of time building cars, so it's kind of unfortunate.

I thought the Cards part was OK, I actually liked the 404ing it part the most, and thought the GB part was kind of weak. I feel like it usually takes the GB panels a while to spin up, and we never got past the 'what have you seen at the show' portion before the wrestling promo was happening. It's easier to get away with not planning anything when you've got a couple of hours to get into a groove, so with the time constraint they really suffered a lot. There were a lot of announcements which was fun, but the general panel banter fell flat. It also didn't help that whoever was running the livestream was not doing a good job of managing the screen positioning/layout.

I get that this was the thing that springboarded them onto the main stage, and they did fill out the room, but all three parts of the panel suffered from their hurried pace.

Pretty sure it will be Destiny.

But seriously, DOOM will probably win, and I will disagree, like every year (SAINTS ROW > SKYRIM). At least it's a better choice than Shadow of Mordor was. I'm just going to hope Mafia 3 ends up being really cool and becomes a dark horse for GotY.

I'm kind of surprised how many people have said yes. I know I'm kind of a mellow guy, but I haven't even been slightly frustrated while playing. Maybe I'm the awful teammate everyone hates, haha.

If you like the old style of dungeon-crawler RPGs, Stranger of Sword City came out not too long ago on the Xbox One. There's a demo available, might be worth a look (haven't heard much about it, but I did enjoy the demo).

Pretty sure that's what flagged me then, that sucks. I wasn't sure if maybe I picked something up online or what, but that seems like the probable cause for me. I really like the online portion of Dark Souls, so I deleted my 13h+ (not too long in a Souls game) save when I got the message. At least these games are really easy to replay, a couple of hours and I'm already through the first few bosses.
