Is it just me, or does anyone else see the parallels between the US' current deficit relation to China, and the scene where Dante talks about the owner not paying his electrician because he owes money to another guy that owes the owner money, and so the bathroom light never gets fixed? 
 
Basically, the reason we make the deficit such a big deal is, if we don't pay it, this nation's kids are all going to be shitting in the dark. ;D

Racism still exists.  It may be more hidden today, but rest assured, it exists.  Having gone door-to-door in '09, I've spoken to MANY average house folk.  You'd be surprised how much you can learn about people once they've let you in their comfort zone - that being their home.  Because I'm white, the racist white consumers would automatically assume I was racist just like them, and start breaking out slurs and colloquialisms like they spoke it every day.  Just because you travel through town, and come across people acting civil, you can't rule them out.  They're doing just that: being civil.  Become friends and it's a whole new world. 
 
I'm not saying everyone is this way, but to say racism isn't an issue anymore on the simple basis that it's not typically open for public discussion is severely naive. 
Racism will never go away BECAUSE we are all visually different, and it will ALWAYS be an issue until either: a) we are all the same color, or b) when human beings stop being so goddamn judgmental and just ACCEPT our idiosyncrasies. 
 
 Answering OP's question - so many previous comments already nit the nail on the head, so I will just add that there is no such thing as black or white. (no pun intended) 
Right/wrong all comes down to a matter of perspective, so depending on your angle, you're all right AND wrong. :p

..but, am I seriously the only one here who sees SSX:DD being a joke?  Maybe it's because I abhor CoD and the like, but as over-the-top it looked coupled with the sprinkled tinges of previous game elements from the franchise, I wouldn't be surprised if this game ended up being the funniest and most ridiculous super-parody of 2011.  Unless I'm wrong about the devs' intentions, I surriously can't wait to be chased down an exploding mountain whilst dodging walls of bullets and mutant wolves (why not? lol) and frostbite.  Anyone seen "Frozen"? XD

OP: Yes, you can use lit candles, as they give off plenty of infrared light.  I've done it myself, and it works perfectly, although a replacement sensor-bar would prove to be less of a fire hazard. ;)

It would seem that is the case, but truthfully, I just kept forgetting to join in the first place. :x

This game rules and I haven't even played it yet.
