Hi there. A friend and I want to play some games together. What are some recommendations for any fun free/cheap (under 5$) to play co-op games on steam that you guys have?

Not really looking into playing anything like Warframe or Trove or games like that. More looking for games like Cry of Fear and others.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

@colonel_pockets Started playing that game a couple days ago. Super fun. Beautiful looking game, animations are great, tight controls, and engaging storyline. Can't wait to play that DLC when I'm high leveled enough. I'm only a lowly level 5. :(

@shindig I'm almost done with that game I think. Got to the asylum and doing some levels there. It's a really fun game that has great humor. Definitely, use clairvoyance on everyone once you get it.

@spacegg Yup! :)

Just finished a good couple of playthroughs of This War of Mine. Great game. Love the atmosphere and mechanics of the game. Would highly recommend.

@boozak: If Yakuza could come out on PC that would be awesome. Not sure how they would translate the controls into keyboard bindings though. And as for the English release, I'm not sure about Ryu ga Gotoku being translated. One can dream.

Has anyone heard of or played this game? It's basically Yakuza but set in the Bakumatsu era of the 1860s. It's got sword and gun fighting as well as heat actions, sub-stories, and a unique storyline with characters based on real life people but modeled after previous Yakuza characters.

It basically plays like a Yakuza game but its currently region locked to Japan and only in Japanese.

Here is some gameplay footage

Here is the opening scene from the game translated into English. I did not do this. There is a person on youtube right now going through the game and translating it into English. I've just started watching it and it's definitely worth looking into with what I have seen so far. I will link the channel and playlist below the video.

Ryu ga Gotku Ishin Walkthrough with English Translation: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzgv-tqL9lOQhB7PG_0U9u9RN6b8zwAcL

I know that the duders can't do much with this (maybe do a video like in Metal Gear Scanlon with watching Peacewalker cutscenes?) but this was really cool and I wanted to share it and get some people's thoughts on it and how it relates to the Yakuza series and how they play out gameplay and story wise.

Thanks! :)

You guys should definitely get your blood chubs Goin in that underwater fighting arena in Majima-Town.
