I think a lot of the frustration comes from it being a very hard game to be successful playing solo. It's one of those games you need a good group of people to play with to truly have a great time with it. Sometimes you'll naturally get there playing with random people, most of the time not.

I don't doubt that it's impossible but it's a less than ideal setup. I certainly wouldn't enjoy playing that way.

My control setup depends on what game I'm playing. I'll always use a keyboard and mouse for fps if possible.

The frame rate really impacts how the game plays for me. I genuinely think CoD4 owes a lot of success to the fact it was 60fps.

So, I'm curious. Do you guys use the chainsaw much? I think I used it like, 3-4 times in my entire ultra-violence playthrough. I'd just see gas canisters and go like "right I have that thing". The same for grenades honestly. They just don't seem that vital?

I didn't use the chainsaw much, only when I was desperate and needed a chunk of ammo/health.

I used grenades constantly though, I'm not sure why you wouldn't when they just work on a cool down timer (free ammo!) and deal a good chunk of damage. I even levelled it up to the max to have more of them and limited cool down. I found the health leech grenade especially useful during boss fights as well.

I'm not a fan of making a "backlog" list, it just feel like it turns gaming into a chore. I have a hell of a lot of games, it's likely I'll never finish all of them and I'm cool with that.

It's a decent new team-based multiplayer shooter with style and we haven't had one of those for a while, I think it's hitting just at the right time. The Blizzard-factor cannot be underestimated either.

I really wish I'd changed this setting. My game crashed to desktop right at the end just before the credit roll :(

A handful of platform exclusives isn't enough to pay hundreds for another console for me.

Most of my play time goes into the PC these days anyway and the ports from console generally end up looking and running a whole lot better.

I do own an Xbox One, but to be honest I only use it to play FIFA.

I would like to see a modern interpretation of a brawler\beat em up.

I'd love to see what a new Streets of Rage would look like. I can almost hear a modernised soundtrack in keeping with the originals in my head.

Get hype.

If this didn't have the Call of Duty name attached to it I think the reaction to this trailer would be very different.
