Idk, but i think it was a good game with a fantastic ending.

My favorite solution to all of this shit: "People who don't like what I like are wrong and dumb, and I will smile smugly to myself enjoying my superiority as a human being because of it."

It's a well known fact that Jeff hates good games- people follow him for his personality- not because he's got a good taste in games.

I personally cannot get into most JRPGS. The way they portray the characters is just very off putting for me. So while I adore RDR, I can understand why Jeff wouldn't like it. 

He's the last descendant of a long lost Native American tribe and all of the cowboy glorification just rubs him the wrong way. Goddamn pale-faces.

it was probably because everything was held by the hand. Everything recharged, aiming was automatic, and text on the bottom always told you what to do.

I thought it was because he couldn't figure out how the horses worked.

Well, he never said he hated it.  It sounds like he just didn't take to it too well.  He didn't like the way the game controlled, which is fine.  He admits that the game looked like it held critical value--this is made clear in the GOTY deliberations from late last year.

Whats not to get? It means that he played the game and waited for that moment where he was like "yea, this game is great. Now I get what everyone was talking about", but that never happened.

AD lasted three seasons. You can't really compare that to Seinfeld, which lasted for nine. If you take the three best seasons of Seinfeld and compare them to AD, the argument is very different. There is a reason why Seinfeld is regarded as the greatest sitcom of all time and is still on the air numerous times every day over a decade after it ended.

The movement controls are really stiff, the guns are boring and he doesn't like Westerns.

People are allowed to hate the occasional great game. There are great games that I personally dislike a great deal as well.

And yet he plays Trouble Witches Neo.  He's not all there.

It didn't click with him, different people like different games.

Because he hates good video games.

I didn't like it. I can't stand the constance  prejudice and hill billy hickery of the west and lack for human life. John Marston  is a terrible bland boring character , So happy he dies.
video games are supposed to be an escape not a reminder of real life.
