Rise of the Argonauts review 1

I consider myself to be rather well informed about upcoming games but there’s always a few that manage to creep up out of nowhere, for me Rise of the Argonauts is one of those games. Very loosely based off some ancient Greek mythology, Rise of the Argonauts tells a tail of Jason and his companions in their quest for the golden fleece which the astute amongst you may remember as an item in God of War 2. I’m a total sucker for any Greek mythology, even when it is rather twisted from the original t...

Awesome Game for any Greek Myth lover . 0

Rise of the Argonauts i s bottom line great . It has some minor problems but everything else is great . This is an action RPG that on the down side doesn't  have that much of . But it pays off with the story . Now If your the type of people that likes non -stop god of war like action DON'T BUY THIS . ITS A GODDAMN RPG . Now lets get to the plot . Your fiancee is killed and you want to bring her back so what you do is you go through everything to get her back . You get some friends along the way ...

Rise of The Argonauts: a love letter? 0

(This review was originally posted on Hindsight Alloys on 12/18/2009)     I like Greek mythology. I always have. I've also taken to revisiting old favorites like Lost Planet, and these combined h...

Rise of the Argonauts is not the best game and it is not the worst. I was hoping for the exact story of Jason and the Argonauts.I came to find out that it has nothing to do with the original story.Even though its a very good game , I have to say it was disapointing....

What to expect from Rise of the Argonauts 0

Rise of the Argonauts is best described as a cross between God of War and Mass Effect.  There are some pretty decent fight scenes with some pretty awesome weapons that can be upgraded and powers that you can accumulate by allying yourself with various Gods.  But there is also a lot of dialogue and discussion required to make the game move forward.  In fact, most of your discussion choices are what grant you various alligances with the various God.  All in all, I've been enjoying the game quite a...

Hardly leaves you unsatisfied when you reach the end 1

Between all of the underdog games I have played, I feel sorry for the failure of RotA the most. It's obviously a game that its developers put their heart into making it and they did it with enthusiasm and concern and I personally didn't see any sign of lazy work in it. But the problem is that RotA suffers from some wrong major and minor design choices which show themselves from the start and made many people abandon the game without advancing far into it. The biggest problem which most of the cr...
