Show Off Your Pile of Plastic
40" samsung LCD 1080p
Yamaha HD receiver
7.1 surround sound set up but the acoustics in the flat I am at now sucks donkey balls...
My Room
My old 30" SD sony tv and 8.2 speaker blast that I have set up ;) just sound, but the sony receiver just does sound, and not well,
at the top now are all my CD's and just strewn across the table, my PS1 is beside it as well, (Oldschool Crash)
and just to complete it,
My last flat I was in was awesome, an underhouse 2 bedroom massive lounge and master but my set up was brilliant,
My 9 foot screen is hung up behind me, and you can see the component cables on the ceiling heading towards the Projector.
7.1 setup was pure as shit!
great sound,
I don't have any photos of any collections I have, and I am not going to fish them out as they are still in boxes in the garage from nearly 2 years ago now...
yeah, I'm not so good with shit like that.
Here's my primary pile o stuff from many years of buying/acquiring things. Top is mostly games, (psp, ps2 and pc) 2nd shelf is mostly anime, 3rd shelf is random dvds, blu-rays, 2 stacks of ps3 games and a smaller stack of 360 titles. And lastly the final shelf is random crap including cds and dvds from mazgazines I use to collect, a bunch of music I haven't listened to in years and some pc games from back when pc games came with jewel cases and not paper sleeves. The stacks of discs are mostly backups of games, random software, years of old work and so forth while behind them is more modern pc games in their crappy paper sleeves and drivers for hardware/software oh and on top of the stacks is a psp I haven't used much since 2007.
And here's my pc in its current state:
AMD 6000+ 3.2 duel core(getting replaced soon), Nvidia 9800gtx+, 5.1 speakers, 22inch widescreen monitor, 4 gigs of ram, a terrabyte worth of storage internal and external and my awesome keyboard that has backlit led keys and a small screen with a button that tells me how much memory/cpu power I'm using haha. Can't be bothered taking photos of my HDtv or my consoles, people know what those things look like.
" @Marino: Dude, I want your Copper and Booker. Where did you get those things, man? "I bought them at the Nintendo World Store in NYC a couple years ago. There's some on Amazon though for pretty cheap. http://www.amazon.com/Animal-Crossing-Copper-Dog-Plush/dp/B002ZG65C4
" @Jasta: Is the TV mounted with one of those arms you can move around? I like the Mass Effect comics across the top of the game cabinet. And what is that Pokemon drink? It's probably tough to see, but on my magazine shelf I've got some Phoenix Wright coffee. "Yeah it moves around, although I still don't trust it 100% so I'm careful. Its not a Pokemon drink, its a can of Jack Daniels and Coke, it just has a Poke ball sitting on top of it.
Just a means to an end.
Seeing your setup makes me feel bad for not having anywhere near your level
my walls are bare, and all my games are hidden in cupboards or drawers
" @Marino said:Called it" @Diamond: Nice! Someone else who knows how to alphabetize. Do you struggle to determine where to place Oblivion and MW2? "Ah not so much, it just sort of flows into my mind. I like to put sequels together and in order of their release, you'll also notice I put the Tom Clancy games together. It'll make even less sense if they put out
Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim
. I might have to put Oblivion in 'E' then. "
By the way, is your username a coincidence, or do/did you play EverQuest?
I can honestly say I am in awe of your set up/collection. I've only been saving my games for the past 3 years and most of it is 360 games (I used to have all my old PS1 games but those were smashed by an angry father who also destroyed my entire gbc library and systems I had at the time so I've slowly been trying to find them again and purchase them).

Was looking through this bumped thread and had to ask what that is on top of your shelf some sort of chest?
How do these sorts of threads get bumped?
Anyway:
There it is! I have other games but there is my main gaming space. There are games that you can't see in the left cabinet and movies in the right. Notable exclusions from this pic are my PS1 and original Xbox. I also have a PSP and original DS, and my brother has a Gamecube, a Wii (which he never, ever plays) and a PS3. His Wii is currently in my room because his isn't modified and halfway broken. EDIT: Also, at this point in time my keyboard and mouse are back on the drawer under the desk's surface and all of the wires are nice and hidden behind the TV.
