Counterpoint: I've played through both of the newer Wolfenstein games on the hardest difficulty and they play perfectly fine. The GB "they're only worth it for the story" bit has always been kinda wrong to me.

Noticed it last week as well but no one seemed to mention it so maybe its just my TV. Is game audio only being played on certain channels? Both this week and last week it sounds like all the game audio is coming from the monitors they have in their studio.

Fun Rorie facts: He has more Mates of State and Rainer Maria shirts than underwear. I only jest, Rorie. Rainer Maria opening for Mates of State was one of my first shows, followed by Appleseed Cast with Braid and Pedro the Lion. I can imagine you were at both of these in 2002.

FYI, I heard from cool trustworthy mellinials that, that coffee PBR is actually not bad.

Anyway, this UPF was damn fun Business Dave and Rorie are just delightful combo, no cap

Also the patch 1.2 fixed lot of resolution and framerate issues the Switch version had. And it Lookks great, too bad the game isn't all that fun.

I like the gameplay in the modern Wolfensteins! With Youngblood though, I'd only recommend it if you have a regular co-op buddy who you know you'll have a good time with even if the game is flawed. It's kinda like RE5 in that regard, but I think RE5 had a better overall structure to it even playing solo. Having a good time with Youngblood thus far though, its fine.

2014's game of the year for me was The Talos Principle, as it's one of my all-time favorite games. I can't be mad at GB though because I didn't play it until years later. Most people, especially those in media, missed it because of its December release. If you love Myst, The Witness or Portal, I can't see you not loving that game. It's unbelievably good. One of those games I don't think will ever get a sequel because the developer knows they can't top it (they mentioned working on a sequel years ago but haven't said anything since).

Hearthstone would be my other pick, as I put countless hours into it and had so much fun with it but at the end of the day it's a card game.

I also laughed when David Alaska said he liked Journey.

Edit: BioShock is poop and it's only retroactively worse considering what Infinite and its DLC turned out to be. BioShock 2 and Minerva's Den, now those are some good-ass video games.

Edit 2: Not swearing in the first minute of a YouTube video is weird. Now whenever they don't open a video by screaming expletives, I'm going to remember that Giant Bomb is a soulless corporate husk, an empty shell of a formerly glorious champion of free speech and individuality. Say the C-word, you cowards. Say it!

Watching Ben play Wolfenstein made me wonder if he's ever played an FPS before. I don't think he touched the left trigger once.

I like Business Dave even more now that he started handing out GOTY awards lol.
