This is the first video where it really bummed me out that Abby isn't on the crew anymore. I love how much her and Vinny liked these old AC games, and she had really become the major player on these Playdates.

Eventually I will go back and continue playing this because it looks fun and I miss the old AC formula.

I'm prob the only one (and it makes less sense since the world maps are so large now), but I miss the default movement speed being "walk" and just sauntering around checking out the city in my cool cloak.

In the newer, RPG games, unless I uncomfortably just hold the stick in slight off-from-center position, it defaults to "run" with the clunkiest, inelegant animations, especially if you're wearing the neat hoods/capes lol. I also miss being able to cover like the entire city via rooftop...the newer games don't allow it as much.

Just the other day I got to an area in Valhalla that was almost a small city, with roman architecture and large temples, and man it made me really miss these dense urban settings. Valhalla has it's moments but a lot of it is just.. empty fields. I mean the sprawling hills and mountains in the distance look great but you're just riding through it. Seems like so much landmass wasted for the sake of giving you 900m of space between each new objective.

Vinn-Jan-Ben. The dream team I never knew I needed. Until now.

Ben's accents are approaching the tier of "Dan singing in Rock Band" on the pantheon of things I never want to hear because it's too upsetting.

The pee thing about jelly fish was propagated by FRIENDS (which I do not advise taking life advice from) and urine only remain sterile while in the body, as soon as it "exits" the part it comes out of both contaminates it and remember its full of stuff your body is purposefully trying to get rid of.

This video is the perfect antidote to all of the Cyberpunk coverage.

The curious case of BenJaVin Button

Deadly Premonition had a great clock tower fight. (Well, more the cutscene than the actual fight.)

Growing up on Cape Cod we would pee on jellyfish stings all the time. This WAS the common remedy for a moon jelly sting through my grandfather's, father's, and most of my life. Everyone did this, unless you were a new york coof. Today we know this was the 'old wives tale' and does not work, but ist WAS the remedy. My dad would piss on our arm or leg at least once or twice a summer. Our uncles would pee on their kids stings, etc. I peed on my sister (okay, this sounds bad now) at least a few times when we were playing far down the beach and she got stung.

Sure it doesn't work, but people these days are more concerned about whipping their peen out on the beach these days more than anything else. I guarantee that anyone who read my account above is more shocks that our family would "pissed on each other" in public -on a beach-, than the fact that the remedy didn't work! LOL. Shocking!

@humanity: syndicate was one of my favorites when i finished it. Never got why the gb team was down on it at the time, mostly i felt they said it was good but ehh, just like tons of people online. It definitely got the bad mark cause Unity was such a mess and everyone was hoping for alot from unity after flag. Thus leading to the drastic change in opener world and the current take that everyone wants to go back to the good old days...ah the cycle of game players.

Vinny, can you please play this entire game on stream? Like make a full Let's Play out of it. I would watch every second.

I have to say that one of the things I really dislike about the Assassin's Creed games is how they have to shoehorn everyone from the era you might ever have heard about into the story.

@antime: I love Syndicate, but it did a particularly bad job of it. The Dickens and Alexander Graham Bell stuff makes little to no sense.

If you mean, something other than English, you have that right. Than again I don't think ANYONE at Ginat Bomb has ever been good at accents/dialects. Although, I bet Drew was good at accents, but he wasn't one to be flashy about it. Shockingly, Dan Ryckert has gotten better act accents as he ingests more media from around the world.
