It seems like it's more Battlefield. Yup. I still haven't played Battlefield 1, so I'll probably stick with that for now.

@steveurkel: Literally half of Jeff's characters were women, afaik the game even starts you out as a woman on some classes, at least that's what it did for me.

The thing is: Most of the women face models look so thin and stoic, they might as well be extremely malnourished men who were just liberated from death camps.

Is that the voice actor from modern warfare?

I've bought every BF game since 4 for their single player campaign, albeit when there was a steep discount. They are pretty decent. I do the same with COD. We're out there, and not as rare as you think.

It's a bit painful watching this as Jeff doesn't seem to know that BF games have bullet drop.

I suppose I got so used to the glut of FPS' from last gen that I kind of tune out any of them that don't speak to me. But surely there was some high profile FPS this year I'm forgetting right?

It can't have just been a CoD with no campaign and this right? That'd be pretty wild if true.

@tevor_the_third: Far Cry 5 had an extensive single player mode (subjective quality aside). Pretty sure there's something else.

Been playing this every night with my brother and wife, having an absolute blast with pretty much every MP mode. Key is working site lines, not running non-stop, and knowing which guns work best on which maps. I love Jeff, I don't love watching Jeff play any fps besides CoD or Titanfall 2.

Playing this on Xbox and having a great time so far. When your squad members start to coordinate the game really shines.

I'm not going to but this most likely for a while if ever, but I appreciate that GB, specifically Jeff and Ben took an honest shot at the game without bringing baggage from past battlefields or dismissive because of the internet runoff about the stupid reveal controversy.

Was refreshing to just ignore that and see what this game actually plays like, so thanks, these quick looks are still good.

I am glad this game looks good. It's not the game I want to play alongside other stuff I keep entertained with but I always liked Battlefield, and like that in a game world full of COD-speed and battle royales, I can play some larger-scale team conquest or rush and play a support class and be rewarded for the fight and not K/D. Shit, maybe I will buy it.

The December 4 patch is supposedly adding an "Apply all" button the the weapon customization UI.

QL actually made me want to play the stories content, but not at full price. I need to go back and pick up that integrally silenced "Commando Carbine" that Jeff decided to not use.

The voice actor for the surly British man is Craig Fairbrass. He did indeed lend his voice in COD Modern Warfare 1, 2, 3, and also Infinite Warfare.

Jeff seemed confused that his sniper shots weren't hitting, even with an apparent head-shot. My first guess was bullet drop, but if it has been removed, then I'm not sure what the problem was. Strange.

Are they playing this on Xbox One X? Because it looks really, really good. This looks so much worse on my dated PC and it's the first game to really make me feel like I need to upgrade.

@thefozz26: What he should do is play Assault , any rifle and use the scope on it. You can get a nice x3 and go to town on medium distance targets. plus have CQB potential.
