Jeez, that Napoleon Dynamite trailer spoils the saving grace of the movie.

SRS is ten dollars on steam. So, you know, get on that.

I know that having boobs and bad music is supposed to invalidate it as a game, but SRS wasn't terrible.

I had this demo disc! I remember playing all these demos too, and this got me way into Burnout 3!

This was fun, as usual. One of my favourite features!

And I'm with Jeff. I thought Napoleon Dynamite was pretty funny when I first saw it.

God, I feel like @danryckert would fucking LOVE Spongebob Squarepants. It's one of those shows for children where they needed to make it interesting for parents and other adults, so there's this layer of insanity and slight raunch that goes right over the heads of children.

Also, Dan reminds me a lot of Spongebob. They're both adults with steady jobs but who can embrace the childish things in life.

Pretty sure I accidentally bought SRS a couple weeks ago in a Bundlestars thing. Also, Francine Dee is totally a name I recognize from an adult website I frequented as a teen, so that's weird.

Suddenly, nachoboss.

My heart started racing for a brief second.

Burnout 3 was a revelation. I had never played a Burnout before, but when the first video dropped and you saw a car get wrecked in slowmo I knew I had to have it. The bizarre, terror bombing sub-game was amazing and strange as well, especially when all the other cars were forced to run full steam into the explosion - brakes don't exist in the Burnout universe.

I remember the first one looking amazing and playing pretty well but would also get frustrating because of the constant timer. The second one was absolutely fantastic and still holds up but it was the third one that really instilled the identity of Burnout. It was the little things about Burnout 3 that just put it over the top and into perfection. A little more stylized and just more content and a bunch of tiny nuances to the gameplay like aftertouch on crashes and how boosting worked that really just took the game to another level. For pure racing, Takedown is the best racing game created IMHO.

Dan constantly destroys his own credibility. Instead of saying he hates Napoleon Dynamite, he should be like Jeff and say, "Yes, that is a good movie, but I don't like the pop culture memes it spawned." I mean, it featured a man wearing American flag pants doing martial arts. Maybe that just hits so close to home that Dan feels the movie was actually a parody based on his real life.

That's assuming Dan understands the concept of parody. :P

NFL Street was so stupid. My brother and I loved the NBA Street games and when they came out with NFL Street my brother kind of wanted to try it since he always had every single Madden and loved those. But we didn't get it. When NFL Street 2 came around, we figured it had to be something good if they could make a second game. Luckily we rented it first. Played it for like 20 minutes and never again.

I was sad they went the full-on Jackass route in THUG 2. I really liked THUG 1. Probably my favorite Tony Hawk game, actually. I much preferred its story mode to the previous THPS's time limit for the whole level stuff.

Burnout 3: Takedown was a masterpiece, one of the first real online racers I played and loved every second. The music was great to.

Aiko Tanaka, mentioned at 36 mins in, does a great cover of Gin and Juice [and may have been involved in a plot to abduct Tennessee Ernie Tuxedo on behalf of the FBI]. People should know this.
