I think they are almost to the spot where i stopped all those years ago.... in the ds remake

If i have one criticism, its that 30min is not enough. I feel like Patrick keeps cutting these things early with his consistant time questioning. Not much really gets done in an episode, i would hope they warm up to longer episodes, I mean they were gunna check out the flying donkey (the name of my ship, i dont know what that ship is called by default... the one u eventually get, but im pretty sure they were gunna go to that hanger until Patrick decided it was enough). Need more of a hit per day man!!

Reason why mondays kick ass.

Hell yes Zeal, such an awesome part of the game. Hell, the rest of the game is really fucking good.

Got past the ER in my own game and an upcoming boss fight (the next-next-next one I think?) completely totally kicked my ass harrrrrd, so I can't wait for them to reach it.

I can't watch this right now. Can anyone tell me if they get Uzzi punch and if they love it

Also, I hope Patrick remembers that boy that said someone will die.

Patrick OCD item purchasing.

Zeal is my favorite part of this game.

Guy tells them about a secret passage and a room of destiny right in the place they're at and they don't give a fuck, gnnnnnn :D

Even if you don't get the "doors to knowledge" part of the riddle, that's the JRPG cue for hitting that action button on every damn pixel in that room.

But hey, they bought shelters and stuff :)

Ahh yes, Boxing Day ER!

One of my favorite sections of the game--by far.

So i completed the game a short while ago, and while it was fairly obvious... 
 

You know there are a lot of cool parts of Chrono Trigger. It's just too bad it's an JRPG.

Okay, I am now an ER: Chrono Trigger complainerr. I will continue to enjoy each episode as it comes out, however, I have a complaint. One of the funnest parts of the Persona 4 ER was the banter (i.e. things were slow in the game and Jeff and Vinny would start talking about their day). In this ER it is almost too focused on the game and not enough on the people playing. Half of the magic of the first ERs was watching the GiantBomb crew playing it. I don't care how you play the game, and by all means don't force a personal relationship if you don't have one, but get lost in the experience! Two people playing a game together, not for work, not because you must, but because it is fun. After all That is why we watch.

They just got to my favourite spot in the game. This is where it all comes together. Also all those great callbacks to people they've already met.

Edit: I just found out that someone sampled Schala's Theme for a hip-hop song. Thanks youtube. And who's this Wiz Khalifa person?

Damn... seeing this sky city makes me wish even more that I would have played Chrono Trigger.

They should pump up the game sound and let the music play some, the music in the skyworld is some of the best in the game.

They don't pay enough attention for that to make an impact :)

Nap City would be such a great amusement park. Just check in, chill out, nap.

I will always remember this as the place I always got stuck when I first played this game (I was renting it, so I often had to start over from scratch).

It was only a mater of time until an air ship showed up.

naw its prerecorded i think...

Damn i wish they would pay attention to the npc's... also i agree that they should have more random chats but only if each endurance run was longer each episode. 30 mins is just too small for me

I'd have totally wasted all my cash on items, but Ryan is actually on to something here. They've been carrying around mid-tonics forever without using them all up, and they spend one or two shelters per episode so they'll still have a bunch by the time they come across new merchants. It may be a waste to walk around with all that money, but they really haven't been lacking in restorative items either.

Kind of disappointed that they didn't notice that hint at a significant plot twist, but that'll make the twist better I guess...

oooohhh man i was excited about zeal but then they literally spent 20 minutes in shop menus

I was loving this ER, and now I'm hating it because I don't want to see anything else. I want to play through it on my own.

I keep feeling like everything has been spoiled for me, and then... this. Hey, a sky city that existed in the past that is run by mages. What a great game.

I certainly think so. The comnat is entirely pointless, and exists only to make the game longer.

Ugh, try to make these installments long enough to be worth watching, guys. This was less than half an hour. Plenty of previous ER episodes were two to three times that in length.

@ll_Exile_ll: well im glad they posted a ER today. Came back home after the hunt(futureshop sale) having succeeded and have the opportunity to watch a fresh ER just as it is posted.

Nope. You just complain in every video that you comment on thats ER related. I remember your name and how every time I see a comment under it it is full of complaints and untrue statements.

They are clearly enjoying the game a lot. Otherwise they would not sound very interested.

And to happypup, I think the reason for your complaint is that in P4 after they found out the basics of each enemy in a dungeon, they were pretty much on cruise control. Vinny would play and Jeff would bring up a topic and they would talk. With Chrono Trigger, the ATB system is just what the name implies, its active. So for this game, Ryan and Patrick's mental capacities seem to be busy trying to not die in battles.

U Guys gotta go back to the first town, and open the books on the tables in this order:

Water, Wind and Fire.

You do this in both towns, they reveal hidden rooms in both....

So wait, now people are complaining that during Endurance Runs, they're actually, gasp, PLAYING THE GAME?!

The amount of predictions these guys make before they are actually supposed to know is great. Although he was just kind of saying stuff and probably doesn't know Janus' true identity. But still, good shit Ryan.
