Endurance Run: Shenmue - Part 01

Capsule machines was great. Vinny referencing the Persona 4 capsule machine almost ending the Endurance Run, and his high-pitched squeal when he thought he opened a Sonic capsule were amazing.

I guess my question of "Are people justified in wanting another Shenmue game?" will finally be answered. (Hint: The answer will be No)

Something about this game reminds me of Shadow of Destiny. Probably the walking around a town talking to people with bad voice acting.

OH SHIT.

A Stardew valley Dojo themed game. You take over the dojo and need to recruit new students. You can maybe decide which fighting style to teach, craft new training tools, and explore/clean up a town full of rival gangs/dojos.

And sure you can marry people too.

I didn't think they were serious when they announced this at PAX but i'm so happy it's real. I've always been curious about Shenmue but i never had access to a Dreamcast.

It JUST occurred to me: Dad's advice of "keep your friends near" is completely useless as Ryo has basically no friends and almost immediately travels to another country, leaving the few friends he DOES have, where he doesn't know anyone.
