Edit - Please consider maxing out the "brightness" setting if you're streaming this game, it's basically pitch black on stream in dark areas.

Lots of issues seeing anything Vinny or Jeff were doing in these streams. Hope they can fix that in the future.

Vinny struggling with redstone for an hour was very good.

Vinny, the "sand" that took a long time to dig was actually sandstone. It's the color of sand but has a faint cobblestone texture. You have to mine it with a pickaxe or you just (slowly) destroy it.

I could watch Vinny mess with redstone for days

There used to be a way to make infinite lava spawning in the early days of Minecraft, bu they patched that out. Probably in regards to obsidian balancing. Obsidian is supposed to be very rare to come by.

I loved that this was like a therapy session, everyone just got to do what they want to do. Jeff just wants to dig, he just wants to go explore, man. Vinny just wants to fix and build stuff, and Ben is taking control of his environment by organising everything. Minecraft is serving as their literal sandbox to take control and stretch their mental-legs a lil bit.

I've been playing some Astroneer and some building sims (Project Hospital is brilliant, go play it!) for a lot of the same reasons I think! And Yakuza 0, the only way i'll ever bowl again.
