There are armless people who play starcraft, and dota, and here's recent video of a guy using his mouth to control a mouse in League of Legends ( gets a penta kill, ie kills everyone on the enemy team):
The Yoshi's Island discussion is kind of depressing. Different people like different things for different reasons. Telling someone they're "wrong" for thinking a game is good, even if it's widely accepted as terrible, is sort of ludicrous.
All of you clowns who comment on the podcast before you listen to it are annoying as fuck. People bitch about all the anit-Patrick posts, but there are two or three pages full of you guys posting "Yay, earlycast", or "First" or any number of meaningless posts to wade through before any real discussion begins.

I have to say Björk was pretty hot in the 90s...now not so much. But hey she has a pretty impressive catalog of music. Never been a favorite of mine but when you're in the mood she is one of the best artists out there. In my top 5 female vocalists for sure.

Pretty sure nobody on the crew is ever serious when they say that somebody's opinion is wrong. I'm pretty sure it's just a parody of all the super-obnoxious fanboys on the internet (Who coincidentally usually ARE serious when they say that shit).
Listening to what Patrick said about the trip and the fans and everything is kinda inspiring to make me more involved in this site that makes me really happy and helps me out allot.
Man, I really wish they would stop talking about Yoshi's Island. I love that game a lot, and I love the bomb crew too. That the two don't coincide really bothers me, and I wish they would just move on.

Pretend to be something for a long enough time, you become it.

I love this site like nothing else on the internet, but I would never listen to everything they say. For all the hate he gets, I love Patrick being with the crew, because he's one of the few of the group that are willing to expand their horizons. Jeff and Ryan decided a long time ago what they like and what they don't, and giving things a second chance just isn't in the cards with them.
It's too bad. I genuinely think they are missing out when they dismiss series like Dark Souls off hand.
All this noise on the podcast about Yoshi's Island has thrown me for a loop. Am I just remembering it incorrectly? Was it actually terrible? I turned to one of my most trusted advisers for the answer:
"Its beautiful, inspired visuals and consistently fun and inventive gameplay make a landmark achievement in one of gaming's most beloved genres, and even though its star isn't Nintendo's famous plumber, the game itself is every bit as good if not better than any other Mario title to date."
