@newfangled: The mouth noises are really bothering me too. Might have to stop listening for a while if they don't address it.

Agreed. To be completely truthful, I've had to turn off the last few weeks' 'casts once it became too much. Turns out mouth noises are hugely off-putting.

@newfangled: it's always weird seeing how sensitive some people are to things you just don't see or hear.

I get very sad when people do their 'best Wii U games' list and don't mention The Wonderful 101. That game was awesome.

"Do you just spend your weekends walking around your house holding video game consoles?" had me laughing. I always thought it was weird (in a highly amusing way) how Jeff can seem to always say when the last time he came into physical contact with a specific console.

Probably because the old locked-down hardware model of consoles is kind of bad for consumers. The PC space, while having some issues of its own, is on the whole better for the consumer, with much more diversity of content, better prices (more and better sales), freedom to experiment, upgradeability, etc. And games being exclusive to one platform is pretty shitty if you think about it, for the consumer, but also probably for the developers too, who have their audience limited by it.
