The number 448 just makes me...feel old as fuck now.

Yup, switching a phone or just the number between networks is a hassle if you get the wrong employees helping you.

That story at the start... San Francisco sounds like a dystopian horror.

I saw someone on youtube playing onward in VR and it was probably the coolest looking thing I've seen ... he held up a pistol like you would in a movie and gunned down a guy crouched facing the other way, the conversation that was between team mates was almost real and there was no teleporting they were actually moving, reloading machine guns, and shooting people like they were in an actual FPS but in VR it was the most bad ass thing I've seen seeing a couple guys huddled around discussing strategy and actually looking like it could take place in the real world.
