It looks like the premium version of this episode was sent to the Beastcast stream for download.

Anyone else having trouble with getting the premium podcasts through Pocket Casts since switching over the the API method.

The premium Beastcast is usually downloaded and ready for me when I wake up on Friday mornings. Last week it wasn't so I logged on to the website and saw that it was posted as normal. Even by manually refreshing I couldn't get Pocket Casts to recognize that there was a new episode. About 2 hours after it posted I finally got a notification saying it was ready and it downloaded. This was the first time this has ever happened to me and it was also my first week subscribing through the API link instead of using my username and password.

Now I am seeing the same behavior with this episode of the premium Bombcast. Pocket Casts hasn't picked up the new episode and when I manually refresh it isn't finding it. I do have authorization to download premium Bombcasts from last week and earlier. I've noticed that when I look at the RSS feed in my browser this week's Premium Bombcast shows as 1.0 bytes while the standard Bombcast for this episode shows as 73.2MB in that RSS feed. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Any thoughts @wcarle ?

Edit: Pocket Casts finally gave me the notification that there was a new premium Bombcast at 8:22PM ET. This was about 2 hours after the episode was uploaded to the site.

This isn't a big deal for me with the Bombcast since I listen to it during my Wednesday morning commute. It will suck if this keeps happening with the premium Beastcast since my morning commute is over by the time Pocket Casts catches it even though it's already on the site before I wake up.

The RSS feed in my browser still shows the episode as 1.0 bytes so apparently that was not the issue.

@kknialler: That always seemed probable, even if they do play it. It's a long-ass game and they always seem to have trouble finding time to play games like that. Don't forget the whole reason that original P4 ER exists is because they didn't think they would have time to play it outside of work.

Hoping to see some Battlegrounds on UPF sometime soon! Could be a fun one for the group.

@zeik: It would hurt to have that happen to both Witcher 3 and Persona 5. It was irritating not that they didn't finish Witcher 3 by the end of the year, but that they felt the need to constantly justify why they never finished it in the 2015 GOTY deliberations. I don't want to see that happen to P5.

@kknialler: i'll just get your disappointment over with and say it's like a 95% chance none of the staff will mention persona 5 on this site again. p4 was a different place and time. hopefully they won't get incessantly badgered about it in the same way the witcher 3 folk did!

@j913b: Yeah, that way always worked for me too. I switched to the new way since they recommended doing so and said that the old way would be shut down eventually.

I still get my premium podcasts eventually so I guess I can't complain too much but I used to get them as soon as they posted and now I seem to be on a 2 hour delay. Like I said in my other post, this really only bothers me with the Beastcast since it's no longer downloaded and ready for my Friday morning commute.

Im enjoying drawn to death right now. Gameplay is kind of addictive and very different. I think the game is intended to make fun of itself. If youre easily annoyed on the commentator(which can be turned off in the options) and gave up immediately, youre missing out the fun of having memorable fights. Even 1v1 battle becomes intense due to weapons,environment behavior and character's unique abilities.

I can just watch 2b move and kill things forever. in fact this is the game to replace quake 3 for me to just "drop in and play" already. it is amazing on the PC I don't know why people keep saying it isn't any good on the PC ... btw, the "washed out look" is just because of the brightness, if you put the brightness at 0 the colors come out a LOT more and the game would benefit from less brightness personally.
