Sweet Nier shout-out. Pretty stoked for the "news" that's coming Fall 2015.

It was a good game.

Wait, I don't think that guy who asked about Brad's pomade ever said what he used. He mentioned a few other brands besides American Crew, like "Murray's" and "Lay Right", but he never specifically said what he used or what he would send to the GBWest offices.

Also, American Crew is what Drew uses/used, so it's gotta be pretty alright.

Also this entire podcast is hilarious in hindsight. The Happy Birthday thing, Dan talking about how he's done with MGS and is totally gonna finish The Witcher but now is not, Jeff saying he'll finish the Witcher, them all thinking Mario Maker isn't that great.

God, I love Vinny and his collections. Still talking about those damn feathers from ACII. I was right there with you, hunting down every stupid feather for Mama.

The @Jeff/@Vinny dynamic is sorely missed.

That guy was fucking high. Murray's and Layrite are basically bargain bin pomade. You might as well just rub motor oil in your hair.

American Crew is premium. It's less greasy, holds better, looks better, smells better, and not only doesn't damage your hair, it actively moisturizes. If you use a decent pomade, it basically works like a conditioner.

@brad, you're good using American Crew.

Oh my god, that was amazing. I didn't laugh quite as hard as I did last week, but it was still magical. I may have to try and make it down to LA next time they have one of these.

This was great, I was able to make it out in person and there's just something extremely magical about watching/listening to a live Bombcast. Thanks for this opportunity to meet you guys and hope you can make it down again next year.

I haven't commented in a while but this podcast was one of the best of the year. It really reminded me of some old school bombcasts. I was laughing my ass off constantly listeningg to it. Grad A 5 star material guys.

This was awkward to listen to because Jeff mentioned earlier that most of the crowd were actually squatters for another podcast. So everytime them made a videogame joke that only the listeners to the bombcast would get, i cringed thinking about half the audience rolling their eyes at these videogame nerds on the stage.

@bapetacular: That's called "living on the edge".

Knife does offer many opportunities in close quarters but you can do more that just swing a bat. Both sides of the bat offer striking possibilities and can be used to block/ redirect stabs. I still wouldn't discount the knife but an unexpected strike to anywhere above the neck with the butt of the bat is at least disabling if not deadly.

I REALLY want them to do that Best Games of the Generation (top 10?) list.

Interesting aside re: the bat vs knife argument. When it comes to personal defense, I remember reading a study that knowing basic grappling/martial arts is more effective since those using knives often end up stabbed themselves. Also you can get stabbed repeatedly and keep going with adrenaline and stuff but a bat to the right spot could be immediately incapacitating.

But long story short: don't get in these situations. Haha or bring a gun.
