I think they had to upload this Tuesday because of the shaky cam footage of Kinect Star Wars. Brad even said in the video that they'd have to post this after midnight.

Do people not watch the video before commenting? Clearly what happened was they were going to put it up on Monday, but since they happened to catch some footage of Star Wars: Kinect on camera, which was embargoed till Tuesday, they couldn't post it til Tuesday. Makes perfect sense

I love Tuesdays? I guess the embargo made it turn out this way. It seems like the people who are getting the best content first this week are gonna be the people at PAX East and not users on this site, namely me. That crappy Star Wars game looks hilariously bad. I'm looking forward to a full quick look if possible. I don't know anything about Xenoblade other than it's a JRPG or something. Keep making these great videos!

Well I guess I can love a Monday on a Tuesday. The victory dance sold me on that game alone.

Sometimes I wonder if the games industry creates these preview events on purpose to stall the actual review work of websites such as GB.

During one of the radio shows they reported that they left it behind. None of them actually know what happened to it. They joked that it's probably still perched behind Will Smith's old desk.

I don't know. It's good for variety to highlight some of the Molyjam games, maybe with insight/background from of the devs if available. I don't usually associate Giantbomb with indie coverage, except for indies that are already well-known and covered by the rest of the media, so it's kind of cool that Patrick was involved in this.

People complain about lack of content and say that this is a slow week, but it isn't really. There's Molyjam from this weekend, plus indie stuff like the Legend of Grimrock release and Starbound preview coverage, etc.

I doubt Jeff would fly out to something like that when they hardly ever leave SF to cover more "noteworthy" games. So I'd assume it's a bigger event. What irritates me is that it's in Rome - who is in Rome/Italy? Ubisoft did something like that in the lead up to ACII because the geographical accuracy was central to the experience and they probably wanted reviewers to be aware. I really have no idea what publisher would feel the need to have US press fly out to Rome to look at games this year.

Maybe it really is Skylanders stuff which would at least answer the question why Jeff went. ;-)
