Sim City! Nice! I miss city building games, there's something so relaxing and fun about them. Sim City 4 and 2000 were really good. Luckily Cities: Skylines is pretty damn amazing and gives lots of possiblities thanks to mods so it's not the end of the world and city builders aren't completely gone.
EDIT: Oh, they mentioned it, cool! Everyone that loves city builders and haven't heard about Cities: Skylines needs to try it out, it's also been out on consoles for a while now if you're not a PC player.

The chat was also divided about what to do with the dust cover, for some reason. (I've never seen the cover put on top during gameplay. Like Dan said, you want an unobstructed view of that label!)

Hearing the crew talk about Prince of Persia: Sands of Time with reverence makes me so happy. Easily one of my favorite games of all time but sadly it does not hold up well at all.

Seeing Vinny turn into cotton candy over his nostalgia for SNES games makes me really wish for a nostalgia series hosted by Vinny.

I was one of those people who put the dust covers on top of the cart during play because I knew I'd probably lose them in my mess of a room if I didn't.

A part two with the games that didn't get picked this time around would be great.

i don't know why dan and jeff were being so down on everything. the ff games aren't some weird obscure like arthouse games no one's ever heard of, but they're acting like vinny's the only person in the world who'd ever enjoy them.

There were people that played RPGs and there were people who played wrestling games. This whole video was a dialog between those two groups.

Very cool! While I empathize with Dan in having very opposite tastes in SNES games, I love the idea behind this feature! Just a big buffet of childhood games in a backpack of nostalgia. Would love to see this across different console platforms with all you guys.

I want this to turn in a series. This is a great format to just revisit some good old SNES games.

Oh man, thank you guys for ending this with Mario Paint. I played that game a TON when I was little, and I have a lot of nostalgia for it. It really is too bad that it hasn't made a comeback at all on the current Nintendo systems.

Dan: Re Mortal Kombat - Both AB AC ABB (The Blood Code) and D.U.L.L.A.R.D. are from the Genesis version of Mortal Kombat one. The blood code just turns on the blood, while the the dullard code opens a more extensive 'cheat console' where you can manipulate stage select, blood, and a few other things (cant remember off the top of my head). The dullard code also made it easier to get to the hidden Reptile fight.

Mortal Kombat 2 has the blood enabled by default on both Genesis and SNES; no code needed.

It's unfortunate that we didn't get to hear the F-Zero soundtrack! Those tunes are fantastic.. =)

Snes was a great console and that was a great watch. My two favourite final fantasy games as well.

Video out of sync with the audio far too often.

I've always liked the Genesis sound chip more because it's got this sharper "twang" to its sound, whereas the SNES sound chip sounds a bit muffled in comparison.

SimCity 2000 was the best SimCity.
