You know, with all the god damn misery going on in the world, all the shit we'll have to face, it helps for me to remember that nothing that happens to me will ever be as bad or as painful as what Dan inflicts on Drew, Brad and Jeff every time they do one of these.

I played through the entire singleplayer for Mario Party 8. I wanted to unlock Hammer Bro so that whenever I got my friends together to play Mario Party 8, we would have another character to play as. I didn't hate myself afterwards, I was twenty-five, and I was employed.

Could've used a Wii U to play this on, instead of a Wii, then you wouldn't have to use one of those crummy Component to HDMI converters.

I mean, I understand that they don't want to get maps that have a shitty gimmick like they did for MPP6, but getting the most "standard" map is boring too.

It was all worth it for that soda shaking mini game. It just came at the right time.

20 minutes in, and Brad vocalized what I was thinking myself: the game's presentation is unusually sterile. If you removed the character's faces from the board, you'd be hard pressed to notice that it's a Mario game.

I also find it weird that the Wii seems unable run this thing at 60fps.

I just got back from getting an NES Classic after being the 5th one in line for one of the store's 7 units. Seeing this now makes me think today is my lucky day.

Sad to see the end of 50 turn Mario Party... even sadder that we never saw a Tied game (since then its a random dice roll to determinate who wins)
