Quick Look: All Zombies Must Die

Neat.

Zombies are only interesting if they have some unique design and origin.

Dead Space has Necromorphs, which are all kinds of fuckawesome. The Last of Us has fungus infected/controlled humans, which is the best new idea since Necromorphs.

Zombies that are just undead people are flatout boring. I'd rather have normal, alive people as enemies, even if there wasn't a reason for why they are after you.

Interesting in the game how when Brad get's the 2nd character, Rachel, the class is simply put as girl. Game looks okay & might be good to get on a sale as the combat does seem a little sketchy but the rest of the game is fun looking.

Edit-Thanks Ryan for the Theremin love & info, they are really interesting instruments which are probably easier to play once you get to figure it out.

It's weird that there's a Game store in the mall.

@Cyrisaurus: You're really worried about the origin story of the zombies in a game like this? You might want to just relax and kill all the zombies. :)

I'm with Ryan, there's definitely more to this game than I expected. Might check it out.

This game would be better if it have permanent death(roguelike).

I saw Kesha on Conan or some other talk show playing the instrument they're talking about.

When I found out this wasn't made by the same people who developed Orcs Must Die, I frowned a little.

This looks... alright. Some design choices that I'm not really a fan of though, like occasionally locking you into an area and forcing a quest before you can leave it. Don't think this is for me.

STOP MAKING FUCKING ZOMBIE GAMES

No corner left uncut in this one. No multiplayer? Check. No real map? Check. No fast travel? Check. Mandatory filler quests just to leave an area? Check. Zombies? Check...

I'm amazed at how positive Brad and Ryan are. They've dumped on much better games.

must be great for people who can't get enough of zombies.

Zombies AND dual-joystick shooter in one original package.

I really loved me Burn Zombie Burn when it was new. Might get this should I spot it on a sale... though if I find out you can make all the zombies dance like out of the Thriller music video again, then my money is theirs.

I think that's a bit much. A well done zombie game is appreciated. However, the current trend of "Maek Gaem With Z0ombi3s in et" or "Add zombies to EVERYTHING!" is what needs to stop. Having zombies doesn't give you a pass at designing interesting game mechanics or a story, nor does it NEED to be introduced into everything.
