Yay a Kinect game! :D

It seems to me Rez and Child of Eden did a better job of creating a Fantasia-like experience in a game. I know these are tutorial stages, but why are the backgrounds so boring / nearly non-existent? Fantasia was about stunning and diverse styles of animation set to music, not static star fields or endlessly repeating static 3d models floating into darkness.

As Jeff said, it mechanically works, but are some people willing to get through the tutorial to get into the more interesting bits? Sure it was only four or five songs to get there, but its seems overly handholdy in away that experienced music game players might find patronizing.

On the other hand, the songs seemed well done and the selection seen just in the QL seemed great, and you could see where he remixing could be fun on those songs. Also, I like the concept of moving from button presses in music games to some of a dance style control scheme. This will find an audience I'm sure...but maybe the dance games are still the 'more fun & engaging' type at this time.

I thought the second song was going to be Intergalactic... :(

Watching jeff and dan being bored and standing there awkward does no justice for this game. After watching this video I thought that the game looked much too simple and I was agreeing with jeff about the slow pacing of the tutorial mechanics and ect.. now I just watched the gamespot review with kevin and, man, did that make this game sound/look fun!

The dismissive attitude on this site is sometimes cringe worthy..

They're open about this being the tutorial of the game, and it does seem way too long.

Fantasia is the answer I usually give if somebody asks what my favourite movie is.

I'd really like this game...But it'd probably the only thing I ever have a Kinect for. I don't think I can swing it.

The movement for the overlay during Bohemian Rhapsody while they're casually talking killed me, great work in the control room.
