Quick Look: Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved

I'm not gonna lie, I kind of liked waving my hands around playing along at home. Problem is I got tired of it after about one song...

This game looks totally rad. After playing the demo last night, I HAVE to own it. I haven't had that much fun with a Kinect game in a long time.

Might just be the tutorial, but I feel like there needs to be more going on in the background.. and it seems Jason agrees =)

There are very few things better in life than Jeff playing a Kinect game on a green screen. His excitement is always so palpable.

Great ql. It's sad there probably won't be many more kinect games with d4 selling horribly and everyone hating kinect but it always makes for great videos.

I wish there are 100x more Disney in this.

Jason and his video skills made me laugh a lot this quick look. It seems mechanically cool but again, I'm not totally sold. Perhaps if i had an Xbox One maybe? But it doesn't seem worth getting for the 360

I'm 35 minutes in, and this game looks BORING AS FUCK. I suppose watching someone play Rock Band isn't riveting either, but man, watching someone play this does not sell it.

Are you kidding me, this video is half as long as the Fantasia movie and the tutorial is not even finished yet. This is excruciating to watch and I can't imagine ever wanting to play through that.

(edit) and reading through Polygon's review for the game, it just sounds insane to me that you need to grind out songs before you can actually use those remix tracks. What is this, an MMORPG?

This seems like fruit ninja with music. Idk I guess there really isn't a whole lot the Kinect can do but this seems so far removed from conducting music at this point.

This game looks way more lame and boring than I ever could have imagined.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't begrudge anyone this style of game might appeal to, but man does it look like it would get old quick.

Watch the Gamespot review or something else. Jeff wasn't lying when he said it starts off slow but it looks like it really picks up. It actually looks real fun and challenging.

Not the best Quick Look. I get that the intro is slow and everything, but the whole interesting part of this game is remixing stuff, and this video didn't even get to the fleshed-out version of that.

As a youngish man (20) I love fantasia. Wonderful film. Also will I be able to Preform Takyon on release or will there be a Grippin the Hits DLC?

The High School High Soundtrack is great! Much better than the actual movie.

The editing in this video is the greatest thing. Great job, Jason!

Fun Ql, game doesnt look fun at all though.

Amazing that this boring hunk of junk took so long to get made. I can only imagine the delays had to do with waiting for licensing issues to get resolved/finalized. This doesn't even pass for a "party game". Standing next to the cheese and cracker plate, pounding your beverage of choice is far more engaging.

Gotta love a quick look where Jeff hand dances to Bohemian Rhapsody, Dan talks about SNL movies and Jason tries to manipulate the video so it matches the track. Beautiful.

The classical stuff is kind of compelling. Being a conductor and all that. Very neat.

holy crap you are not kidding. I always love the format of the GB guys dancing around on the kinect but i dont know anyone could be entertained by this game for more than 1 song
