Quick Look: EX: Borderlands 2

The only way I could stand playing the first game was with friends. I imagine this one will be the same way.

BL1 is one of my all time favorite games and everything about 2 looks 5x better. Very excited. And for those who are looking for more "energetic" looks at the game go search for anything with Randy Pitchford or Anthony Burch. They both have been demoing this same mission for various game sites.

Oh , an interview/advert instead of a QL for BL2, booooo. 51 minute snore-fest, I should have gone to some site like Gamespot if I wanted to watch something like this.

Same. It makes playing with randoms unbearable most of the time. Also when people abandon you during a boss battle to get the chests in the next room :/

18 days played across all three platforms. No way I'm not getting this. Looks fantastic and pretty much like they fixed almost everything which needed to be fixed from the first game, whilst keeping it very much still Borderlands.

That's what Quick Look EX means, it's not a new phenomenon.

Only reminds me how disappointing the first one was :/

I can't believe this is coming out in a week, it's one of my most anticipated games of 2012 and I've been to absorbed in Sleeping Digs and Darksiders 2 this pleasantly snuck up on me.

I feel like excitement for this game is centered around how "ready" you are to play more Borderlands, because that's exactly what this seems to be, a better, more polished, more crazy Boderlands, but VERY much still Borderlands.

I think an FOV slider was mentioned in earlier material for the PC version.

Definitely excited for this release! Even though I am getting it for the 360, I firmly believe that, Real Life Friends > Graphics

Not by much though...just wished my friends had a better PC build than what they are currently rocking.

Did he really say you get better loot when you play with more people? More loot I can understand but the quality of the loot drops should be the same regardless if you're playing with others or by yourself. That and the fact that it's free for all loot and not like diablo 3 where everyone gets their own loot is unfortunate.

not dead, I was talking about the ending - the clap trap revolution ending was epic.

Ahh, okay. I will have to check it out. I never got any of the DLC, but the ending to the core game was the worst, non-ending after the dumbest, completely-random-to-the-game boss I had ever seen.

I totally agree with you on that, and I like to think of the clap trap revolution ending as the 'true' ending of the game.

This is the worst type of quick look EX, I really liked the original borderlands and am really exited for more borderlands. This was intensely boring and hard to watch, I realize that PR types like to cloud their games in secrecy but their real job is to make me buy the game. This QL made me like borderlands 2 less; Now I know that not everyone can be a John Drake or a Brad Muir. Talking really uninterestedly about how they changed the game mechanics while nothing is going on in the game makes the game your billing as a non stop action game with billions of guns and fast game play look boring.

I wish the guy playing had been a better shot/done more things/handed the controller to Jeff.

I seriously hope they are able to do this and I seriously don't understand why no one else has thought of it. Shoot the piles of junk and shoot the boxes of ammo because I HATE PRESSING X AGAIN AND AGAIN.....The thing I noticed about why the game got somewhat tedious is you would have a proportional amount of pressing x with all the killing. I would love if the holding x to pick stuff up was elaborated on more, and if I could have shot stuff to make them explode with goodies instead of pressing x again and again and again. I love Borderlands besides this
