Trevor was the best character in this game, I want more Trevor.

I found John Marston (spelling) to be a very good character/hero. I still think Red Dead Redemption is the best Rockstar game (Played all the GTAs)

I'm not a fan of this series but all the hype keeps drawing me back too it. Only to be disappointed again.

Trevor is the true embodiment of GTA's chaos. Which is why, if and when I wanna go nuts in the game, play as him.

Loved the game, but I have no interest in playing it again. Better graphics doesn't really mean that much.

As much as I loved GTA V on Xbox 360, the performance issues and rough edges made me decide not to finish the game and wait for the PS4 or PC versions. Happy I did as they look great, excited to get my copy today.

Rockstar are possibly the hardest working game devs going today. Amazing upgrade, looks like they worked their asses off to pack as much into the new version as they possibly could.

Yay first person Rockstar game. Oh wait its still GTA 5 and all 3 of the playable characters are still fucking terrible.

Damn it, looks like a good improvement over the original release, would love to mess about in that world again with a first person mode.

But this QL also reminded me just how uncomfortable I found Trevor, especially in the back half of the game to the point that it often killed my enjoyment.

I'd love to play this game on the Oculus Rift in FPS mode.

I love how we've come full circle into describing the first person perspective as a really novel way of experiencing the environment.

Hope they don't fuck up the pc version as royally as they did gta iv, not touching it untill i get a confirmation that you dont need to wait 3 pc generations pass by for some machine to be able to run it.

Brad was so tame it was infuriating. He was just driving around nice and safe on the roads, trying not to hit anyone. I get that he was trying to show off the world and he did but the only reason any guns got fired was because he accidentally walked into someone despite Dans valiant attempts to get some action.

That is some classic Brading at the caravan park. And i loved it.

Too bad Project Morpheus isn't out yet.

I'd like to see if this is playable in VR or will that be GTA VI's big feature.

Good: It's GTA5 on the PS4 and it feels right at home

I'm glad they mentioned the weirdness in this game having fake locations, but songs mentioning the real world equivalents.

I kinda wish there weren't three games out this week that I want to get, so I could more easily justify getting this now. But...I'll have to wait for a bit.

It's weird this is getting positive buzz from you guys, considering how pretty much all of you (except Dan, who wasn't a person) hated this game once you got 1/3 to 1/2 way through it. I know I agreed with you then, and I'm not buying into the hype again now. No more GTA or AC games for me. I've already played them before they're even out.

Tell those two people talking over the game to be quiet so I can hear.

They showed off the version specific changes well, compared to other Quick Looks of this kind where they don't even mention what is different in the newer version of the game. But it went on for way too long, I agree with on that one. 20 minutes would have been enough.

I've never seen the appeal of replaying a game just because it looks better.

Really hope we get a GBEast Play-date video of this because I just want to see Vinny inflict himself on an open world and Alex there to watch in horror.

I wish they knew more about the game before they played it. It's actually possible to change the first person controls to how they are in actual first person shooters.

Here's a tip for anyone who hasn't played GTA yet: don't expect an amazing playing game. GTAV is not that. Expect an amazing experience. GTAV is totally that.

I didn't enjoy GTAV for a good while and stopped playing it. Just coming of Saints Row The Third, Prototype and some other open world games, I found GTAV was 'old fashioned' with their gameplay.

I came back to it later, and I was more in the mood to play something 'slow' than when I first started playing it. That's when GTAV is best played. You're not in it for the amazing gameplay, you're in it for the setting, story and atmosphere. You're not supposed to have systems in place to make driving more fun; like other games have done/attempted. You're just supposed to drive from A to B and appreciate the detail on everything.

You can't possibly like GTAV more than when you're in the mood for this type of experience. No, it is definitely not the best game ever made, but it is really cool to experience.

It's a little thing, but I like that they changed the colors of the phones to match the character coded color.

I'm still in the middle of Shadow of Mordor, so it'll be a little while until I actually play this, but I'm picking it up today. I am thinking I might jump into GTA Online for a little bit tonight for funsies.

Definitely going to play this again on PS4, but I still have other games to finish up first. This one could be good for the beginning of the next year.

Looks nice, seems like there is a lot to have fun with...but my god, those horrible characters, everyone is a unlikable douche. Maybe that is an accomplishment that fits a modern GTA. I understand how, if you are doing normal GTA stuff in missions that your character can't really be a great person, pretty much impossible, but all the surrounding people in the game are unbearable as well. They could be terrible people and still likable or at least interesting, but I haven't been entertained by any of the scenes I've...seen. I feel like it might of landed on me differently in the 90's.

I still plan to check it out, maybe the story/character stuff will be better in practice for me. Anyone else have the same initial feeling and enjoyed the game none-the-less?
