While it's an interesting concept I feel that a $15 asking price is a little much for what it has to offer. Also remind me to never let Vinny name my children because I don't want them named after grocery items.

I tend to like games like this. Tile based, turn based, rpg mechanics, some amount of character building.

I think the randomness of this one is what kills it though. Its like Talisman (The board/digital game) which is rather harshly random, this one is just way way more so.

Good of them to QL the game though. I had been thinking of giving this a try and its good to know its one of those "I should like it, but this one I'll skip."

I backed this on Kickstarter and although some of the aspects definitely need improvements, I really love the concept of this game.

The 3rd generation was called Wade, not Waaaaaaaaaad. Some spooky changeling stuff.

@spacecouncil: Doesn't work. Apparently the dev's looking into patching fullscreen in but it's not a biggie for me.

And the most depressing game of all time is....

The basic setup for the game reminds me a lot of Desktop Dungeons crossed with some of the ideas from games like Rogue Legacy, though I'm not sure that these new ideas actually work to enhance the experience.

They just pushed out a big update for Desktop Dungeons too, so it looks like they might be close to finishing the iOS version that I've been waiting years for. (similar to the "advanced edition" of FTL that was released when it was ported to iOS)

Generational heroes is gonna the the new big thing, I tell ya. I'm looking forward to Massive Chalice.

It really feels like a $5 game. Or a $2.99 mobile port.

In playing the early access version of Massive Chalice, I found myself getting surprisingly invested in the various noble houses I had founded, and you come to rely on certain heroes and seeing them visually age and eventually pass away is done really well.

I really love the concept of taking a legacy through generations, Rogue Legacy and Massive Chalice worked with these ideas, but this game seems to use the concept as window dressing more than any sort of interesting design features.

A baby found in the woods could grow up to be anything! Like, a strapping horse-whisperer, or a sexy hitman!

I know that it really shouldn't matter; after all, it's a silly mechanics based game and its rules are arbitrary, but I keep getting hung up on how the passage of time seems way out of proportion to the amount accomplished.

I love the concept, not so sure about the execution.

Interesting generational game. Hope to see the concept worked into some more games until we get a really awesome variation.
