Looks like a simplified version of TIM.

As far as Patricks comments go, TIM did have physics but the grid for object placement was way less granular, making for more focus on solving the puzzles and less on placement guessing.

Indeed. I think the thing that got him confused is that all the TIM games were firmly grid based, so it was easy to find that one spot where the physics would line up the way they were intended to. In this game it looks like you could design levels that need pixel precision just to get things to go where you want. That's not good.

i have to say... lacking the patience to attempt to come to an understanding of how each aspect of the puzzles work and 'a bunch of trial and error' are not the same thing,.
