I hope they try to tackle beastboy for DLC, I feel like he would be really unique, like the way Green Lantern constructs all kind of crazy weapons for his attacks.

That Flash super seems like a direct nod to the JL cartoon:

Like Jeff says, there will always be characters like that, and people will always find ways to beat them to a pulp. Just look at how fucking cheap Noob Saibot was i MK9

I don't know half the characters in here, but MAN I'm pumped for this game. Just from the demo, the game seems even more newb friendly than MK9 what with only 3 buttons to combo with and all the environmental-attacks. Love the controls, the feel of the combat and the art style

Use the Youtube player if the GB player doesn't work. That works for non-subscription videos at least.

@solarjarl: I have that same problem. Sometimes it goes grey and stops. It's pretty weird. Only luck I have is watching it via Youtube when it's available.

Lots of usual suspects in the voice acting - Hale, Strong, Baker, North, but they got Conroy for Batman (yay!) and the Superman voice has been doing animated films. Plus Adam Baldwin and Alan Tudyk!

After hearing Jeff's thoughts on this & how it compares to MK9 (which I really enjoyed) along with Netherrealm taking a lot from the framework of MK9, hooked me into trying it out. Love some of the crazy that the super moves have.

I hate projectile barrage type characters, not that I can't beat them or anything, it's just insanely boring to fight against.

As cheap as some characters in MK9 were, I always felt that it required at least some skill and good timing to pull it off.

He's not lame. He's just written that way.

I am about 1/2 through the single player. Nothing spectacular and definitely not worth $60. This game also makes me hate the 360 analog and d-pads even more.

Lastly, most of the costumes in this game are downright terrible.

I cancelled my pre-order after seeing deathstroke vs deathstroke fight. I have no interest in multiplayer anymore, I might rent it just for storyline mode.

Kabal could stun you, run away and keep doing up-down projectiles at an insane firerate. I have played MK9 with friends, who have never touched a fighting game, and they kicked some serious ass, just spamming those two basic attacks over and over and over. That doesn't make it better that those kinds of characters are also in here, I will agree with that.

The character art looks really good to me. I could just sit and watch fights and cutscenes.

That's one thing it seems like Netherrealm has going for them. Lots of style and pizazz.

I'm not a big enough fighting fan to buy this for $60 but I'll probably pick it up someday.

Deathstroke seems annoying to fight against, fortunately i intend on maining Wonder Woman who has an air dash :D.

I'm not much of a fighting game player, primarily because I suck, but I'll check this game out for the story alone.

If this was the 16 bit generation I'd be pointing and laughing at the tiny characters, and how incredibly stiff it looks at all times. Of course it could have been a design decision.

Maybe I'm just bitter about new fighters in general living in Europe and having the worst fucking people in the world in charge of bringing Persona 4 Arena over here, without adding a single language or doing a single translation we still haven't seen shit. Put those people out of their jobs.

I kinda would like to play Deathstroke but I don't like to play lame so I hope that he has some decent combo options up close. Zoning is fine but just spamming the same moves is not. I'm glad that the Batman characters seem like they are better suited for a rushdown style.

Pretty cool that they got some shared assets from Arkham games through WB.

Wasn't sure about this after the demo, but this might have changed my mind. Loved the heck out of MK9 to. Say what you will about the story mode, least NR bother to do a story mode.

I knew Robin from Teen Titans was from Batman, but this Cyborg looks like an adult versin of Cyborg from the series. Does this mean Raven, Beast Boy, Starfire and Terra are all real comic book heroes as well?

I'm totally on board, but I'll wait a few weeks before buying it. Somebody will have it on sale and any deal breaking issues will have bubbled up to the surface by then.

Cyborg reminds me of Jax, and I like the idea of Jax a lot, not saying he's a great character though.

I know nothing about comic books but I know Starfire was one of the "new 52" that caused a kerfuffle about over-sexualization which didn't fit her character from TT.

Also I hate you for reminding me about Terra :( Haven't watched TT in a long time. Too bad they didn't add that with the rest of CN.

This game looks crazy and dumb and awesome. I just wish I liked MK style fighters.

I might pick this up just to play story mode and see the ludicrous supers, but when it's on the cheap.

They are apparently doing some crazy shit in the comics since I last read one ages ago, probably at least 18 years at this point. It's kinda interesting to see what's different, though I've never really cared for DC. I'm surprised Ed Boon is doing another DC game, though then again, if you have the license, you might as well use it. Probably a good thing that they are changing some of the mechanics. I see they have the Killer Instinct life bars. I have no plans to buy this game but it at least looks alright.

The iphone game is pretty silly, it's really just a game about mindlessly swiping trying to level up to unlock the super moves. Though then again, if all you want is to see the super moves, then it's a cheap(free), though time consuming, way to do it.
