Besides all of the ridiculousness in this game, that was a great demo. Definitely interested in playing this.

This game will fail on its repetitive missions and non-existant narrative. A fun sandbox, but it will get old, fast.

This quicklook is going to unrivaled in sheer craziness, and thus I will be giddy with joy    

Any game where chaos is a currency is a winner in my book! 

lets hope they also have the pc version running becouse seems that some ppl from the somethingawfull forums already made the first mods to unlock all weapons etc and remove the demo limitations. witch makes the game that much more fun ... RPG's  combined with the para  == dead base

Looks cool. I'm currently playing the first Just Cause, and it got it's good spots every now and then. It fails at repetitive missions though. But this one looks like a more polished version, whit some more variety.

While the destructive potential is great, the demo felt a tiny little bit less clunky than Mercs 2.

I know I spent my time with the demo at first blowing stuff up, then stealing that Generals helicopter on the roof, flying upwards for 5 minutes, then freefalling down and see how low i can open my parachute without dying.

Aaaww, you guys JUST missed the plane AND the helicopter :p

Demo has helicopters and tanks. Lets have a QL v2.

Playing the pc version  makes you realise how blurry the console graphics are. Seriously, anything beyond 10 metres is reduced to a blurry mess.

When I played the demo I both called the black arms guy and flew a plane.

I've played this too much. 
 
"Are there any aircraft?" You're floating thirty feet from a plane. Turn right. *ten minutes later* You just floated over it again. *twitch*
 
"Wish I had some damn grenades." The top of that tower you're standing next to has a one handed grenade launcher. Takes out the propaganda trailer with no problem.

I was real surprised by this demo,i played most of the first and that damn grapple hook in this one is pretty awesome i was using it just walking around shooting it at the ground pulling myself forward to move faster,
lets just hope the game dosnt get ruined with repetitiveness.

Another extremely painful QL to a person who's played it. I kinda wish you'd play it once and then do a QL, it prevents me going mad.
 
Im surprised you didnt lament the fact that it's no longer called "Stunt Position" but "Stunt Jump" that really bummed me out regardless of the fact you can still do it. Perhaps you didn't notice. And there were people who loved the first game, it's a shame you dont know anyone directly!
 
The part where Brad requested a plane and you flew right over it...man. Best worst moment ever.

 Honestly, I'm quite disappointed with this quick look. Who wants to watch two guys play a game who are clueless on how to play it? That’s not appealing at all. Next time, at least play the game a few minutes before making a quick look.  

You can kill that Colonel pretty easily by landing on the roof of his mansion.  On the roof there's a soldier with a sniper rifle you can kill, take his sniper rifle, then pop the Colonel in the head with it.  It gives you a lot of chaos quickly so you have more time to do the unlocked missions.
 
The PC demo is available on Steam and it has 360 controller support.

Oh my God, this game looks amazing!

This demo made me preorder this game.

It's possible to grapple to the explosive canisters and ride them high in the air.  Aim for the top of the canister, and grapple to it, then shoot,  then make sure to jump off before it explodes.   To find a rocket helo in the demo goto the cliff at spawn where the explosive canisters are, look down for the road and follow it to the left through the valley.  Just down the road a bit and in the complex on the right.

Is the aircraft you commenters are referring to the yellow thing at 20:49? If so, yeah, Brad mentioned wanting an aircraft twice, and both times Ryan was flying directly over that thing. That's just funny.

Jesus.  Is it just me, or does Ryan really suck at this game?  That was painful to watch.  It was like watching my wife play video games.

They could have done so much more in the quick look but overall a good showing of some of the crazy stuff you can do.
 
Like Robo said you can grapple the tanks that shoot into the air and ride them way up into the sky and I found myself doing that a lot when I played the demo. They also have a helicopter on top of the big mountain near where you start out and I would get in that and fly as high as I could before bailing and trying to grapple back on and get back in. At no point did I do any missions because messing around was just so enjoyable.

Doesn't seem inventive of them, at least considering what else the game can do.

love how excited brad is getting in this QL ... don't think i will be getting this though, seems like the rest of the game could just be more of the demo...

Wasn't impressed by the game at all.
 
Amusing for a few minutes, but very shallow and repetitive.  There are far better sandbox games out there, and even ones that offer a better amount of insane crazyness.

Every time they mention finding a plane, the air strip is right under their noses, haha.
