This is mostly just making me want to go back to Super Monday Night Combat more than anything.

I'm level 4 in the game after about 30 rounds of the game. It's difficult to level but the game is an easy way to blow 20 minutes.

I'm not a big fan of the art, but it looks fun to play and without the most disgusting F2P stuff.

I played it for a couple of hours, and while I enjoyed it, there's really not enough meat around it's bone. Once you built your gun to your liking, there's a good chance you'll stick with it without trying the other options. There's also a cheap feel to the whole thing, like if the textures weren't in high resolution. Unfortunately, there is no graphic/visual option sliders.

I mean, I enjoyed it. It's a fun free game, but it can't hope to last unless it gets some more content.

I really wish they looked at all the dude pants. The one at the bottom is worth spending coin on just for the quick look.

This sounds very sound in concept, but the trailer that was posted a while ago effectively unsold me on this game.

Interesting that the moment Brad said, "I wanna be the Collector" the message came up and said "You Are The Collector" and he apparently didn't notice it... and then died.

That tech tree looks just as gross as the World of Tanks one. You have to buy upgrades but to even unlock them for purchase in the first place you need to grind a TON of xp. Pretty gross stuff.

Wait, the weapon of some other guy is actually called "The Sleepy Brad"? That....that CANT be a coincidence, can it?

Uh, no you don't. You buy them. Weapon/part XP is only for upgrading said parts, not getting new ones.

I've been playing a fair bit of this game. It's a lot of fun but I wish they had another way to unlock cosmetic items (like in TF2) ; everyone looks the same right now.

Brad shows in the QL that you have to buy the gun parts unlock more parts in that branch. They're unlocked with the bluelets (sp?) currency you earn in game not through XP. The XP upgrades are just damage/efficiency bonuses.

I am definitely going to give this game a shot at some point. The animations look really slick, and I dig the customization stuff.

Im glad to see this came out. I was working at that studio when they were just starting this project, I even did basic blockout for some of the weapons.

This game is pretty cool. You actually capture faster if you taunt during a capture. I still don't see a lot of diversity in the weapons, I mean there are a lot of options but why would you not pick most damage with most accuracy all the time?

I enjoyed this for a few hours. Made a nice change for something free but I'd have to agree with other people. There just doesn't seem to be a lot of diversity right now and a worrying amount of possible cheating.

The costume items are incredibly expensive, I was expecting some way to get them through the game (perhaps one of the daily rewards could randomly be an item). So it really feels like the same identical models running around. I mean other than Brad here, who has got some bucks to try out the cosmetics, I've never seen anyone with a different taunt or even an item of clothing.

And the weapons just seem lacking due to their similarity - just the same rifle thing. Obviously it can do lots of different things but it doesn't feel very diverse due to the basic model. Would have been nicer to pick a proper chassis, pistols or launchers maybe could have changed it up. So for all the customisation options it actually doesn't feel like you really see anything crazy on the battlefield.

So fun for a little bit but nothing special. I do like the fact that the hammer scores more if you get kills with it. That felt like the one time the game did something different.

You can straight out unlock the upgrades with Blutes. Just like Brad went straight from the slug round, with the rifle, jumped the Tesla and then went straight to Pyro.

The XP is based on you using that specific upgrade. I don't know precisely what it does, but I assume it upgrades that particular item upon leveling it.

I know, it's confusing. All the Tech Tree does it graphically lay-out what you need to unlock to get to where you want. IE: Unlock Bio-scope to get to X-ray vision. Or Healing ammo vs damaging ammo

Looks like a good F2P implementation compared to the messes that have come out recently. Interesting tech tree, lots of upgrades, gun stuff through matches, tons of cosmetic stuff for pay. Not sure if the gameplay would be as long-lasting as something like TF2 though, which is kind of key. And having damage and other stats tied to upgrade status does have a chance to unbalance things.

Third person is a total deal breaker. Its as unnatural as playing without a mouse. It ain't right!

@budwyzer: Thanks for clearly explaining it. I guess World of Tanks left such a bad taste in my mouth that anything looking remotely like it's f2p tech tree sends me into a fit of rage (not really, it just really looks similar and I wasn't really paying attention to Brad.)

THis is a great game to just blow off 20minutes with a few matches, which at times can get pretty intense.

also i found the default rocketlauncer to perform well, but the superscuttle laser designated launcher is where its at

@vinny You don't know how many times I have yelled at the screen when Brad is playing something. I wish it always worked.

I find it pretty funny that part of critiquing games now is how enjoyable making a transaction is.
