Man, Patrick can turn the silliest video game quick look into "serious business review". This was ripe for Jeff and Vinny to lay some humor over it.

If everything done in those FMV's was done on purpose, they are brilliant. It's like a bad straight to youtube movie, love it! The game-play looks like it could be fun in short bursts. Seems like the kind of game you play to take a break in-between other games. Looking forward to getting it on 360.

During the FMV scene in the garage, the Wavy TubeMan Chronicles was playing on the TV in the background.

I didn't expect it to, but LocoCycle has made it to my XBO launch day games. The FMV is too fucking good. I love Twisted Pixel.

This looks like a 360 game not a Xbox One. Looks horrible on every level.

It's such a shame that the game is so poor when it has such great ideas and grand designs. Plus, it's really ugly for what's supposed to be a "next-gen" game.

I bought Comic Jumper on a whim a few years ago and I will never make a purchase mistake like that again. I really don't care for Twisted Pixel games or humor.

I'm so thoroughly over this kind of affected, "so bad it's good" ironic humour. Even if the gameplay was good, the humour they've tacked onto it is actively unappealing to me. I think Eurogamer nailed it:

Yeah. When I started watching and posted the Sega CD boot-screen vid, I was just funnin. By the time I was done, I was reminded of why FMV games are so shit.

At least there'll be a Let's Play on Youtube within the week and we can see the video without putting up with the shitty "game" part.

The guys have a good point about the whole Spanish gag though. I'm morbidly curious as to how they deal with that in the Spanish dub of the game. Do they make Pablo speak English?

FMV reminds me of Megarace somehow, just as bad

I don't get why they didn't go the Mortal Kombat or Tex Murphy route by making the character in-game a digitized sprite of the same actor who played the mechanic during the FMV cutscenes, the polygonal models looked goddamn awful, and while there could be some issues with the physics not looking right when using sprites instead of polygons ... it's not like they did a good job with that anyway.

Didn't it play a selection of different songs each boot too, or was that region/revision specific? I seem to remember another song.
