The transition of Mega Man's "happy face" to "gritty face" throughout the series is sobering.

Does anyone know where Dan's use of 'starred up' comes from? It's just weird to hear him say it considering our definition:

Starred Up is a term used in the UK to describe the early transfer of a criminal from a Young Offender Institution to an adult prison.

I like how the sideboard art looks like it was hastily put together by a first year art student that is just learning how to use illustrator.

I hate to be the guy that says 'they should make a feature out of this' but I would be way into watching Dan play more Megaman. It's funny in all the right ways. Not being mean just because some of the deaths are so fucked it's hilarious.

Haha... Why is Hard Man okay, but Knight Man is too wacky? I got my NES late, so I don't think I ever played the first two games, maybe not ever the third. Four through six are, to this day, weirdly familiar.

Also, Dan, that's a cover of the Bowie song, The Man Who Sold The World, in MGSV. Oddly enough, the cover was actually released in 1996.

OMG C'mon! In MegaMan 2 you take out Metal Man first and get the best weapon in the game and then you just beat the game. Dan is right. Metal kills Wood. Wood (floating leaves) kills Air. Wood Mans attack kills Air Man instantly.

Jeff's idea of Mega Man Maker is pretty interesting, but he's right that the bossfights would be a lot harder to create.

3 is my favourite. This is a bad port.

Totally have had the Mega Man III theme music as my ringtone for a good few months now. Specifically the first 30 seconds.

Back in my day, these "maker" games (also known as a "level editor") came as a free bonus with a full proper video game. Like Mega Man Powered Up, for example. Glad Jeff likes his Mario Maker so much, but he's giving that thing way too much credit.

The cover is by Midge Ure, and it was first on the sountrack to a film that came out in 1982. Perfectly positioned for the time the game takes place.
