Just got this in the post today and played a little bit of it. Narrator/Announcer guy reads his script really fucking weird.

The ragdolls again look really goofy...i cant tell if more or less than the last game...
 
I remember playing one these types of games on the original xbox...i never remember the name, but the ragdolls in my memory were so damn good.

What's wrong with the announcer? That's completely the guy/in the style of the guy that does the ads for monster truck events and supercross and stuff. I can hear him saying "Pontiac Silverdome" in my head very clearly!

i want to hear the conversation that was going on when this started really badly. 

Textures look kinda.... not great.  Way to pump out these quick looks, though, guys.

I think i'm the same as jeff. Play every other year and enjoy it then don't look at it again.

I think I'll be sticking with Pure.

Funniest QL in a while.  Gut-bustingly hilarious all the way through.

ehh...downloaded the demo but haven't played it yet.  Don't think I have any desire to now.  The terrain deformation looks really awesome but that's about it.

I had an ATV game I bought once, don't remember which series it was, maybe it was "offraod"? but I am not a big fan of this type of game, (mostly because im bad at it), kinda feel like a tony hawk but on a bike/atv. but the one i bought had a fun multiplayer soccer game where you hit a big ball into opponents nets, me and my friends played that for hours.... I wonder if these games still do mini-games??? I would pick it up for the minigames maybe :)

awww mini games revealed at the end are not what I'd buy it for, but maybe that was a different "brand" of ATV game I had? I think mine had hockey, and soccer, and some other stuff..... Playing during loading was cool though, and the dirt trails left behind, and Dave breaking a chair was pretty boss as well.

I played the demo of this game and I hated it. The freestyle events were terrible to play. I hate they way you do tricks. The actual races were alright but it just feels like you're out of control the whole time. I liked past MX vs ATV games though.
 
The announcer really should be saying "Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!" after everything he says.
 
And I can't believe that chair actually broke while you were recording a QL. Wasn't that the same chair that was about to break in a previous QL?

This Quick Look made me realize that I love watching Jeff play motorcross games with Ryan riding shotgun.

Thanks for the QL guys. I was on the fence about buying this game before. Now I know that I'll definitely rent it, and that'll probably be all.
 

The trick to orientating yourself while in the air is that accelerating pulls you back and braking pushes you forward. Use the clutch in the air to keep your engine rev but halt the pitch alteration. Left stick turns in air, right stick rolls.

Looks like it still has pretty prominent rubberbanding going on, which is why these ATV games have always been shitty racers. 

Before the first free ride level opens up, theres that creepy announcer voice, he does a bunch of commercial for my favorite radio station, Z-98.

These games are great. Everyone knows that there's a lot of fun to be had just trying to hang on at breakneck speed or not trying at all but then there's a real challenge if you want (and will probably have to) play the game properly and really concentrate to get all of those jumps and turns perfected; then these games become the hardest to play.

Man, I could play games like this for hours not even doing races or challenges. Hearing they are making the physics more realistic is music to my ears.
