The new NXE update looks nice and all but what about the games? What does Microsoft plan to do in terms of IP's for the rest of this year and throughout 2010? So far all I've been seeing is new features for Xbox Live, which is nice to keep things fresh and new, but is this all we're getting - features? I bought the console not for it's flashy Universal Interface or for Xbox Live. I purchased the console for it's games and that's what seems to be lacking here. Sure Xbox 360 has alot of arcade games but I want more.

I've had the new NXE for a few days myself and it's really nothing to get in a twist about, just a more refined version of what was already there. The new Netflix setup is pretty sweet, but the rest is barely noticeable.

That sounds great! But with the Netflix thing, will it be free for gold members? And when will this arrive in the UK?

Also when you started that party and couldn't see the animation, well what would happen if you pressed A and that would come up with view details, and your avatar might do the animation then?

Anyone know where we can find that wallpaper brad has?  It's pretty cool.

The prop will show up on your My Xbox link.  It is kinda silly but I had to buy the key to Monkey Island, the entire animation is pretty neat. 

Edit: As for backgrounds, visit any site you want, heck DeviantArt for example. Download the pic to your computer, have it linked to your home network that your Xbox is on, head over to the Pictures link on the 360, find the link for your computer, find the folder you downloaded it to, find the pic then hit "Y" and you can make it your 360 background.  Keep in mind, your computer has to have "Sharing" enabled or else you won't be able to access the folders.

Argh, where did he get that wallpaper?!  I can't find anything like it!  Anyone know what that style is called or where I can download it?  It looks awesome on the 360.  Great quick look btw :).

All I really want from this update is decking myself out in 10 bucks worth of Monkey Island gear.

You should have checked the tab under My Xbox for the spyglass.  Maybe it doesn't show up in the friends list there.

160 points for avatar clothes? It should be 40 - 80 points at MOST.

The Netflix thing looks great.  I tried it out last year when it first went online, and it was alright then, but this looks like it would make me want to subscribe to Netflix.  I'm still looking most forward to the Facebook integration.

Awesome update..........and yes the Avatar Marketplace seems overpriced.

The rating feature is worthless, every public darling game gets rated 5 by everyone by default.

I already got this because I am in the beta.

I got the update and have  been pleasantly surprised, there aren't a whole lot of new features, but the ones that are added seem too work well and efficiently. Sorry about the telescope Brad, that's a bummer.

Don't bother watching Powder Blue. Just another generic, intersecting plot line movie.

Kudos to Biel's character for being one of the only movie strippers as of late, to actually take off her clothes.... and pour hot candle wax all over herself. Yeah... you guys are going to watch it now anyway.

I bought a green Fable 2 shirt and the green Halo shorts, I like the update and the Avatar MP will drain my spare MS points, which is fine because I hate having 200 points left and no there are no indie games I have any interest in.

You should be able to control the Halo car and drive it around the screen.

Apprently, games installed on the HDD now take up less space due to the update. Which of course is fantastic.
