Giantbomb is racist against goblinoid class creatures!!!

This is how Tecmo's Deception should have been designed. A 3rd person view might have made that game playable with the added bonus of seeing what kind of hideous monster the main character is. I would prefer killing waves of annoying adventurers trying to mess around in my house than orcs.

Only.. no co-op. What were they thinking?

Damn it, now I want this game.

Doubling up on those arrow walls seems like a waste of money. The second an enemy walks into that area, both will trigger, even if the enemy is partially damaged and one arrow wall would've been enough to kill him. Seems like it makes way more sense to layer them behind each other.

Is it just me or is Ryans design for the choke point in the first level AWFUL? if you set jump pads over the two outside squares it forces them down the middle. Then put tar pits to slow them as they cross the arrow walls and spike pits at the ends of the point where the arrow Walls can't shoot. Maximise the damage area! Ah well.

I like the music in this game. I like this game's style.

Man Ryan does NOT like Jeff back-seat driving, he is just straight blanking him sometimes haha!

Not the biggest fan of Tower Defense style games, but this does have a certain charm and fast paced frenzy to it that I can definitely admire. Too much in the ol' backlog right now to give it a look, but maybe a future sale can convince me.

I'm always interested in these tower defence games but I've never ended up playing any of them.

2013: We all love Orcs so much there'll be thousands of games with them as the key enemy.

2015: We will be sick of Orcs.

I love Trenched, so as soon as they name dropped that one I was ready to buy this

Just got done playing the demo and it didn't do anything for me. I hated spamming the left mouse button to fire the arrows the entire time instead of just holding it, and it just looked extremely repetitive with no real challenge or strategy needed to win each round. All I had to do was put the arrows on wall with slow tar in front of them and held down left mouse button with the bow equipped and I won every map. Admittedly it was just a demo of early game, but it didn't leave me impressed. I think I will be waiting for the Christmas sale to pick this up on the cheap. Especially considering it has no co-op.

Definitely see the tower influence, but the wall stuff really reminded me about Trapt.

I did a video review of that at one point.

Why do people enjoy games like this so much, but then complain about protecting the Little Sisters in Bioshock2. Not the world's most pressing issue but I have always wondered.

Couldn't you plant the spring traps in the two squares right in front of the doors?

I feel rival biker gangs would be an acceptable analogue for Orcs.

After playing the demo on PC I pre-ordered it right away :)

This game actually looks totally fun. With a name like "Orcs Must Die" I thought it would be some kind of nerd shit. But it's totally cool

It must suck to put your game out on Xbox Live or PSN and have it come out this time of year. This is precisely the sort of thing I'd pick up just for the hell of it in the spring or summer. With all the big games coming out in the next two months, though, I just can't justify the purchase.

I can't imagine I'm the only one.

Looks like a whole lotta fun. I like the fantasy motif more than some of the settings I've seen for other tower defense games.

Actually looks like a fun game, shocked but atm there is to many awesome games coming out that a fun good game will have to wait for now!

This game looks fun, but this Quick Look was pretty boring. You guys covered all we needed to know pretty quickly, and you're right - the lack of extra modes and other content kinda blows.

If this came to PSN, I'd buy it. But it won't so I I won't. Hope PC and XBLA players enjoy it though - glad to see Robot (Ensemble) get back on their feet.

I think I like Orks better now because they yell space marines! all the time in cockney accents.

I'm officially not buying Dead Island now. What I don't get is why GB doesn't just have a greater number of ads; I don't mind them if they're at least varied. This is just fucking annoying.

Adblock Pro. And then just go look for ads on the things you're interested in from word of mouth?

This demo is really fun. I bought it on Steam today after going through it. I'm only worried that it will get dull really fast. This game would have a LOT more replayability with some multiplayer!

Just think of how fun it would be to fend off hordes of orcs from multiple entryways with your buds. But I'm sure we'll have to wait for (and buy) a sequel for that to happen.

Am I crazy, or is the main character in this played by the same guy who did Goku's voice in one of the English DBZ dubs?
