Looks great. I echo the sentiment that multiplayer would add immensely to this package. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to accomplish. It's kind of weird seeing the tower defense concept removed from multiplayer, considering that's where it was born...

Just think of how fun it would be to fend off hordes of orcs from multiple entryways with your buds. But I'm sure we'll have to wait for (and buy) a sequel for that to happen.

Just to let you know - there is a game on Steam for pre-order now that seems a lot like this and it is multi player. It's called Dungeon Defenders.

I like how you can tell Jeff was getting slightly annoyed at Ryan on some of his decisions

In this quick look: Ryan Davis builds defenses all on one side, focuses all his firepower on the well-defended side, then acts surprised when the other side is broken through.
 
Also: anyone who has ever played a tower defense game ever knows that disabling towers/traps are about 10x more useful than direct damage.  Except Ryan Davis.
 
Also: this game looks like Sanctum, except lacking any strategy or challenge whatsoever.  And no alternate game modes or multiplayer.  BUT HAY ITS GOT ORCS RIGHT

Really weird that it does not have coop. Actually, its kinda unacceptable

Downloaded the demo for steam yesterday and had a blast with it.

The stupidity of the name fits well with the "stupidity" of the game. It's orcs running through hallways and you are stopping them. I think the name fits well with both gameplay and the general laid back not to serious mood of the game.

@HellBrendy: Stupid was the wrong word to use I suppose. I did almost pass this game up based on its name though, which might be more a case of judging a book by its cover. This quick look sold me though, as I bought it straight afterwards and loved it from start to finish!

I've watched a lot of quicklooks on this site; these guys love games but they aren't very good at them; it's entertaining but a little cringe inducing.

@Construc: I agree, watching Ryan spam that crossbow was really off-putting. Even more so when Jeff pointed out the right way to use it and Ryan ignored him.
