Quick Look: Postal III

It seems... so boring

This game....looks so fucking bad...how can anyone make a game that looks this bad? Did they intentionally make it this bad? Is it some kind of sick joke? Just...ugh it looks Godawful!

I think I'd still rather play this than Duke Nukem Forever.

Love the Ren and Stimpy sidebar, though.

2011 was kicked off with what, mass effect 2 and dead space 2 right? Good to know this year is the same quality, yay postal III.

This game is so broken I fully expect Brad to push for it to be Game Of The Year 2012

Same. The humor in this atleast doesn't seem as cringe-inducing as DNF.

Postal 2 was a pretty hilarious game for its time. I won't say it was a good game, but it made me laugh a lot. Smoking crack to gain health was a highlight. Anyway, the movie was absolutely awful, and with Uwe Boll in the opening credits, this game looks more like a licensed "game of the movie" than a sequel to Postal 2.

Besides which, I'm not even sure a "true" sequel to Postal 2 would be any good. It reminds me of Duke Nukem; the jokes in these games were great at the time they came out, but trying to resurrect them now is bound to come off lame and unfunny. And that's kind of the problem with all these remakes and nostalgia pieces you see in the games industry and Hollywood these days - some art is timeless, sure, but most of it dates pretty rapidly.

Wow. I mean, wow. Postal 2 didn't look that great to begin with, but it's golden compared to this mess. Consider it avoided.

See, sometimes inappropriate comedy can be funny if it is self aware of it's stupidity (ie: Saints Row 3) but in this case, if you are forced to use the word, retarded and other offensive things to get your point across, it comes off as sad and pathetic.

Enjoyable video. Miserable games at least provide fodder for those.
