I loved the Black Flag naval combat so I suspect I'd love this.

I'll be picking this up when it's available to buy on Steam. Looks pretty neat and sounds great.

Cowboy Bebop AF

In the perfect Firefly game that would never be made, this is what I'd imagine the space flying to be like.

Correct. All of your movement is restricted to a flat plane. I don't really see how this style of combat could work if it wasn't, and that restriction does make navigation a whole hell of a lot easier to handle.

I just don't know if I can get into a single plane, third person view space game. Other than that it seems pretty cool, soundtrack seems great.

FYI Port is on the left side of ship (relative to the front) and Starboard is on the right. An easy way to remember this is Port is a smaller word than Starboard. just like Left is a smaller word than Right.

Like most AC games (Besides the first three), I like the style but everything else about it seems underwhelming. Then again I am not big into exploration without a good narrative arc. Anyway this one is a miss, I can see myself getting bored of it within the hour. Has potential but right now its too simplistic for me to spend money.

You know it was unclear to me whether the console release was day and date or not but someone conveniently updated the wiki page the day before this PC release happens. So much for my anticipation, now I'm just bummed. Been looking forward to this game since the Unfinished video but I guess I'm going to be waiting much much longer. Thanks for this video, it made me sad.
