I can't say no to more Saints Row 3!

I really enjoyed this piece of DLC, I had the Season Pass so I was playing it either way. I think that the worst thing here is the mission they just played, after that its all skydiving panda bears and rolling around with Professor Genki in his suped up flamethrower car.

I think this DLC does get crazier than the standard Professor Genki. At least, the trailer hinted at that.

Super quick look

BUYER BEWARE! There are some really awesome and insane missions in here. There are these Katamari-style missions where you are a yarn, there are these basically Superman 64 missions where you are flying through Steelport in a Panda outfit. There are only two instances of the shootouts.

If you ask me, terrible show. Much better DLC than shown.

As much as I really enjoy Saint's Row: The Third and do not regret buying all of the DLC / Season Pass, I was slightly disappointed to find this DLC could be 100% completed in about 1 hour. And most of the content was just reskinned stuff that was already in the base game.

Hopefully the next DLC will be slightly more meatier.

It was... OK. As part of the season pass, it's fine. But I wouldn't buy this DLC on its own.

Somebody working at ESPN must like Saints Row cause I heard the menu music during a college basketball promo the other day.

I love the pop ups during the Genki stuff.

Played the DLC because I got the season pass for free with my PC-version, but I have to disagree with you. The yarnball missions aren't like Katamari at all: you don't pick stuff up with your ball, you just roll over it, mostly awkwardly. It's incredibly similar to the Mayhem-missions. Kinda fun, but you're done in five minutes. I was basically done in an hour with the DLC, but never had as much fun with it as I did with the main game. Worth it as a free piece of DLC, but for the price they're asking, I would probably have wanted something more too.

And I still fail to see the appeal. Maybe it's just not for me.

I had fun with the missions. They were different and way crazier than anything in the maingame.

As far as the price point, I kind of agree. On one hand I love anything Saints Row ever so I'll pay for whatever, on the other 7$ is a bit of a stretch for what is basically 120min of gameplay.

This pack is more than what is shown in the Quick Look.

There are 4 different activities

• Apocalypse Genki (the one in the quick look)
• Sad Panda Skyblazing

...man, this DLC is a really low effort. Call me when there's a Johnny Gat mission line.

I don't think DLC quick looks play the way they do them. The concept behind the normal QLs is sound because it's your first experiences with the game and affects your overall enjoyment therein, but with DLC you already know that world, and will likely play it to the end if you buy it regardless. I think they should either prep a bit more for these or just not do them.

I kinda... don't like the Garage music. I think the game has an amazing soundtrack and a lot of great original tracks but that's not one of them. Most of the shops are great though. Friendly Fire, Rimjobs, Leather & Lace, Planet Saints. Also the song that plays during the second (I think) plane mission.

And that fucking main menu. That one's been my ringtone for a while now. It replaced Life is beautiful.

This DLC is super ethical

God damnit... Ryan is SOOO bad at this game.
 
He's max level and he hasn't even upgraded the shotgun? He's using the default character? He has practically no vehicles. 
 
Can we please watch Jeff's game in the future?

It's disappointing that the first DLC is as unsubstantial as it is, but it's REALLY disappointing that I cannot play the DLC, or my saints row saves, because I paid for the season pass.

It's an issue for some, see the community forum on their site.

Geezus Ryan did a terrrrible job showing off this dlc. Nonetheless finished it myself (got the season pass) and yeah I wouldn't say its worth it stand alone, kind of a let down. I hope the remaining dlc they have planned actually has some story stuff or something completely new.

Activities are not really my favorite thing in SR3 I did most of them just for achievements. Though I did like Genki stuff the first couple times I did it.

Did they mute the game audio? Why? :o

I love The Third. My only complaint is that unlike the previous games in the series, there was no option to re-play missions. So I had this level 50 character whom has done everything there is to do. But at the same time, it's kinda bizarre going into this paid DLC with an invincible character. Hmm.

Terrible quicklook. They didn't even show the other activities.

The Genki missions were the least enjoyable activities for me. They didn't feel that different from the rest of the game except for the setting.

Is this the one that comes with CheapyD as your homie? Saints Row 4 needs roving podcast gangs.

Just a warning: I've had this DLC since I started the game, and while they still let you play it, it's really, REALLY hard with a starting dude. The most interesting thing about this quicklook for me is that it looks like they let you use and keep your upgrades (at least the physical ones).

Edit: Random aside: For a game with just SO MUCH variety and customization, it doesn't seem like there's any way to change your ringtone. Wow. Really?

He's never this terrible. Forgetting the way he was going numerous times despite it being VERY obvious. Turning around on the spot looking for shit that wasn't there. Piss poor aiming AND using the shotgun for basically 90% of his firefights (long and short range when it was clearly doing jack shit for both)?

This wasn't Brad playing with Ryan's VO was it?

This also deserved a bit more of a look, I know there'd be a fair bit spoiled if they did too much, but still 10 minutes in which the level isn't even finished? Bit lame.

This Quick Look was clearly rushed for some reason. Whatever, they can't ALL be winners.

@dr_mantas: Sometimes publishers tell them they can only show like 10 mins of gameplay. Understandable considering its dlc

I loved saints row, but I think once you've unlocked the no bullet damage perk, these might seem kind of pointless aside from looking at funny stuff like water-bear and listening to the dialog.

Johnny Gat Alive? Jeff's plot line of Saints Row 4 unravels

I got this DLC because I got a free season pass, but it is probably not worth your money. 1-2 hours max, and theres no real storyline to speak off. I still had fun, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have to hand over money.
