I was also thinking that searching through trash cans was the best part of the game. And then you got to the game where you help a giant slime monster devour people, and I realized how brilliant this game really is.

Liked the Carowinds reference, I went there as a kid.

And what an ugly, dull game...

I have to say, the character animation is fantastic (the hand cursor was also quite charming), and the kid characters remind me a lot of Psychonauts.
Too bad about the game part... Yikes.
