I might give Skyrim another go, remember enjoying it but another game distracted me and I never went back. Re-released PC version though, no Switch for me~

Jeff almost got me to punch my monitor in the first 10 seconds, so the rest of this video is probably good.

More curious about Skyrim VR than this version, but still glad this exists for Switch-only owners.

I was kinda tempted to pick this up just for the novelty of portable Skyrim but watching this has reminded me that the combat in the Elder Scrolls games is terrible.

i played too much skyrim and came away with mixed feelings about it and i'm still thinking about picking this up to play a giant portable open world rpg

Charging a full blown 60 bucks for a game from 2011 is BS. Yeah its great to have on switch, but $40 would have been way more reasonable.

Based on Digital Foundry this is the Special Edition and most of it is exactly the same as PS4 version of Special Edition. Brad is mis-remembering, 360 version is A LOT more grimy.

I've recently restarted this with the PS4 edition. It's still so damn good and holds up brilliantly, the new enhancements are really nice and the game looks beautiful. Not many games have touched the atmosphere and how engrossing the world is since this was released.

That grass draw in is pretty bad in this though :(

Edit: I wonder if this will have the PS3 disaster frame rate issue.

@slaegar: Nope solid 30FPS according to Digital Foundry (same as PS4). its also the same Special edition as PS4.

...anyway, it's cool that this exists! Some part of me wants to buy this, but a) I spent a hundred hours in Skyrim earlier this year and b) that was the PC Special Edition version and, less than five hours in, I was very happy that I hadn't waited and played the Switch version thanks to mods.

Weird thing... I never played this game vanilla and no mod's coming from PC. I kiiind of wonder what it was like. I have a feeling encumbrance is going to make me angry. But I kind of want to try it.
